Gar7 Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 My game is crashing after the Bethesda Softworks animation, but before the menu appears (although the dragon emblem does appear). I do not know how to do anything with the Papyrus Log (newb, remember?), so, if you require that, as I expect, I'd need help with it. My MO scrnshts are attached. Thank you very much, and if I can help you help me in any way, ask and I'll try my best.
Arthacs Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 Run LOOT (best option is to install the full version and not use the one that's integrated in MO) -then open Wrye (install it if not already) and create a bashed patch. USLEEP should be located almost at the top, after official dlcs (Loot should fix that).
Content Consumer Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 When your game crashes right after the logo but before the main menu, 99% of the time it's because of a missing dependency. Are you sure that you've downloaded all of the requirements for all of your mods?
crazycow Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 basic 1. for me when the game crash on start i run Wrye Bash - Skyrim looking for red name because red name are problem or need masterfile esm or what ever and other problem make game crash on start from load order or textures in mod
OlBenny Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 This happens when a mod is missing a requisite. Download, install, and run TES5Edit and it will tell you what you're missing.
TnTTnT Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 Possible messing mod installation. Most of your mod installed outside MO and some may corrupt each others.
Gar7 Posted June 18, 2016 Author Posted June 18, 2016 Sorry, but I accidentally posted the wrong screenshots. They are now updated.
Tefajo Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 if you crash before menu is most likely a missing master. Look at your right panel in the "plugin" tab and look for anything with a "!" flag, like this example: If you hover the cursor over any of them it will tell you what mod is missing (look for "missing master")

Wait, what? you are using 2 managers? If you have mods installed with NMM then those mods are copied directly into the data folder, wich MO would recognize as "unmanaged" files. I have no idea if MO can o cant detect missing masters from unmanaged mods, but my advice would be just keep one manager and dump the other (if you keep MO better) Regarding FNIS, it doesnt matter where the executable is found, but in order for FNIS to recognize animation mods installed via MO you need to run it from MO, else it wont create the proper output files. If you have all animation mods installed with NMM and run FNIS from that manager then i would guess you shouldnt have a problem Nevertheless, not installing / executing FNIS properly would only result in characters staying in "T-pose", but by no means should lead to CTD before main menu. This type of crash is most likely a missing mastery... or a dll from a third party program creating conflict (for example, an ENB preset you removed but forgot a couple of files by accident)
