New Theory on the Sole Survivor (spoilers)

I'm going through a completionist playthrough of Fallout 4 and literally exploring every nook and cranny of the game doing so.

Anyways whilst in the FEV Lab I came across a holotape that had some disturbing information on it. The tape mentions a scientist wanting non-radiated samples to continue FEV Experiments and they knew where to find it and were going to approach the director for permission.

My theory is thus.

Once Shaun was informed of the scientist plan for FEV he became aware of the existence of the Sole Survivor and what transpired to bring him to the Institute.

I believe that the reason for the Sole Survivors release is that Shaun and Virgil concocted a plan. Arrange an accident in the FEV Lab that shuts the program down. Virgil flees the institute into the Glowing Sea with Kellog in hot pursuit.

Whilst Kellog is chasing Virgil, the Sole Survivor is released thus preventing the Institute from conducting any further FEV experimentation based on "clean" specimens and saving the Sole Survivor from being an experiment. It also prevents Kellog from murdering the Sole Survivor if he was still in Diamond City when the Sole Survivor turns up. Do you really think he would take the chance if he was eating noodles and along comes the husband/wife of the person he murdered 60 years ago?

From the institutes POV. Either Kellog will die in the Glowing Sea or be killed by the Sole Survivor. Virgils will still get cured (it's safe in his lab) and it provides a perfect hands off excuse on how the Sole Survivor managed to get into the Institute.

Thoughts?

Why would Shaun need to play 3d chess when he's running the place?

Because he is dying with cancer and once he passes away there is nothing to stop the FEV research from starting again or for the Institute to find another way to use Nate/Nora.

I think the sole survivor is a synth.

When reading institute terminals i found a lot of reasearch data that says they can improve something that will make the synth even see the world in slow motion.

Shaun is very preoccupied that you can or cannot love the little Shaun synth, even after he die in the holotape they said the boy and you need a chance, all the institute see synths as machines, and the director see synth like human replacer.

All people in the vault 111 with vaultsuit was in the cryo, when you leave the cryo you see skeletons with vaultsuit

Or everything was Deacon plan indeed.

the fallout 4 story is way to ludigrus, it doesnt make any sens. i for myself think that the vault dweller or curier 6 is sitting in a simulation in a vault tec experiment and the whole fallout 4 isnt real at all. that would make sense.^^

People have to play politics all the time. It's easier to get people to do something if they think it was their choice to begin with.

I tend to agree with the sole survivor being a synth. It makes a lot of sense. There are a handful of empty cyro pods to begin with, maybe all the unaffected humans were already removed.

Also you tend to have an awful lot of knowledge about a great many things. For example, if you pick Nora, then you would have a law degree and recently given birth. How would you be able to/know how to use power armor, heavy weapons, etc.....unless it was programmed in.

But look at what Shaun makes you do. You go after rogue synths. That's what a courser does. He's training you to be a courser and grooming you to run the institute. If he succeeds, then you'd be the 1st synth to run the institute. If he fails, you'll have the skills to evade coursers.

And dogmeat.....he's a synth.....I'm sure of it. He's right there when you come out of Sanctuary. No owner nearby, easily follows your orders, totally loyal.
