Two Minutemen equipped with T45f Power Armor with Camo paint.

(I got so bored that paintjobs never worked I downloaded a mod to fix it and this is a great way to dress up the armor I think)

 

I believe the T45 armor can be made to work all the way through the endgame (at least as far as I have taken it so far) if you upgrade it all the way.

So its T45 upgraded all the way to F for extra protection.

Also using a mod that allows me to craft legendary mods onto all pieces.

So I added "almost unbreakable" legendary to all pieces.

I believe this lessens the fragility of the early game armors ( it multiplies armor health by 4 but adds no extra protection to the user)

 

PS: I am not sure which mod did it, but I been getting more immersive comments from NPCs in Diamond City lately when I show up in power armor. And compliments from DC Security on my Minutemen role too.

That makes it more real I think.

I was going with just killing and dismemberment. However Kaylee here has discovered she is no match for his synth security. She managed to escape but not without a few new tattoos.
