Sometimes Nexus doesn't think before they ban people.

Are they even capable of thinking.......

Now what do I do :/

what else, stay here to download mods, LL has better stuff than nexus, you can also download stuff from planet elder scrolls, they have some pretty neat ones like Modular Oblivion Enhancer & the bargonian race, Oscuros Oblivion Overhaul has it's own page, of course CLS is exclusive for nexus, for now, till grumpf makes a torrent for it, i barely go to tesnexus nowadays, after i downloaded some clothes(and the full apachii stores), CLS full version(after downloading everytime it updated and erasing the previous one) and darknesslovers, Vilja, neeshka, viconia & the underdark, pshe, it has nothing else to offer as for the skyrim mods (points to skyrim section & youtube) the best are over there

You may have purchased a legal copy, but you don't use it, if you don't use steam. You either pirated it or cracked the .exe. Which is against the EULA. Both of which would make the version you use illegal.

I don't really care, but if mentioning piracy is against the rules on Nexus then it is what it is. Also, the whole "I don't use steam because of resources." shtick is extremely shallow. At Max load Steam uses 100megs of memory. If you don't have that to spare then you aren't playing current games at Max settings anyway. And if you aren't playing at peak settings with peak efficiency then why worry about optimizing resources? I'm not hating, there's just no reason not to tell the truth. Whether you pirated it or not, it hardly matters. No reason to make excuses for it.

Skyrim is worth the money though, far more than Oblivion was. Vanilla Skyrim is a wholly engaging and enjoyable experience. Made better with mods, certainly, but with mods comes instability. It's always been that way since Morrowind. It's nothing new and doesn't change the fact that a little instability is worth it for the plethora of content that mods bring.

Hmm...this post sounds a little more serious than I had intended. So I'm going to rely on the age old classic: All "she's" in this thread are men and/or FBI agents. Girls don't exist on the intarwebz.

To be honest in my eyes if you legally buy it you can crack it if you want but only for your own use. I don't like pirates you can't be assed to pay for a game.

Ignoring the EULA is not illegal. Game companies don't write laws. Anyone can write their own EULA, but it doesn't make it law.

So what's the story on this? Apparently the forum is trying to be more friendly to new users and using uncensored avatars is forbidden. So my question is' date=' why is it not enforced? it feels like I am being unfairly mistreated because there are others that have uncensored avatars and they haven't been removed and yet my avatar gets removed and then I get pm'ed about it. I am ok with this rule (sure it sucks but whatever) but if I am the only one that is forced to do it that seems a little unfair.

Oh God your avatar is a goddess. I want mine to walk and bounce like that. repeating oh God!

Pretty much, yeah.

The agreements for some early PC games basically banned ANY modding, and there were even lawsuits over them, which got thrown out.

Maybe Nexus will be more likely to link to LL' date=' now??? Well, at least, they have less of a reason to not do so.[/quote']

More chance of an extreme Islamic fundamentalist hugging a christian than that happening o.O

what he said

Well i know your tryn to be cute but you hit the nail on the head. There are religious nuts who patrol these kinds of websites and tryn to censor its contents. Why? because they believe they are following God's will and any harm to you results in more heaven gold pieces, angel wings,7 more virgins added to the 70, and instead of 6 inch gold street their's will be 10 inches thick. So the rules keep us safe from the fangs of the religious nuts.

Well to be fair, that type of nut job is going to hit regardless of how well moderated things are.

Personally, on sites I've ran in the past, I've always maintained the viewpoint of not caring, because if they want to complain they WILL find something to complain about, so why go to extra effort when they're going to complain anyway.

Why would you want to make a site like this' date=' supposedly "safe" for kids??

[/quote']

Its nothing to do with making it safe for kids. Nowhere does anybody mention making it a site for kids, registration on the site still requires you to be 18+

It's about making the site clean to browse for people who come here for stuff other than sex mods, and porn everywhere in their face when that's not what their looking for scares them off or makes them more hesitant to browse the site to find some of the great mods here.

*please exscuse me cause i'm... not all here at the moment*

We rarely do these sorts of things "for the children!" That's pretty much always an excuse and lie. So Ashal's answer seemed honest to me.

I never came to LL because it was an adult site. I came for armor mods that were banned from Nexus. I came for the asian mods. The nude mods were already over at Nexus. Speaking of which, when I think about it, LL is now no more an adult site than Nexus. The "Love" part of the name is like happy, joy, or gay. Maybe update the color scheme to match? A unicorn would be nice.

I'm relatively new, so asking, was LL ever really much of an adult site aside from their ads and member avatars? I just see it as a gaming site. I kind of get the sense, too, from the moderators, that they don't always see it as an adult community. So, yeah, some rainbows and unicorns would be fitting and totally fine with me.

Virginia is for Lovers...Lab..?

Break.

I personally appreciate not having the adult ads anymore, Ashal. It's nice to just browse the forums and not have that stuff thrown in my face...that's what she said.

What was this thread about again? :P

May also notice we're no longer using shady adult ads' date=' this is only possible as a result.

Also makes the site browseable from work, which is a concern for some people.

I've noticed that the adult ads are back up. Change of plans?
