raveraptor Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 So I decided to "Upgrade" to Skyrim Mod Organizer to get RealVision ENB to work without crashing. I miss-clicked on the "Sort" button and it sorted all of my mod files. I didn't think it bad at first, but now I can't load any save files, or start a new game without the dreaded infinite load screen. So if someones bored and like sorting out the mother of all messes, could said person try making this hot mess into a masterpiece? I appreciate your time UPDATE: So the load order has been fixed via uninstalling everything and reinstalling. Except now, it keeps saying Creature Framework has been downgraded to RC12, despite the fact it's up to date with Creature Framework 1.0.4. Anyone know what it could be? Final Update: Everything is fixed, woo!
Guest Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Hello. That is not really a load order. This is the file from MO for the unmanaged contents. (Things that you installed outside MO.)

Guest Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Go in the profile folder you are using (it can be called "Default" if you don't use profiles), and inside there is a file called LoadOrder. Post it as attachment.

SexDwarf2250 Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Is using the Sort button in MO a bad thing? I do this all the time. >_>
Guest Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Remove the Unofficial patches and use only USLEEP (Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Patch.) Then try to start a new game to see if everything is OK. If OK, then go to a save game in MO and check the popup to see if something is missing.

Still no clues for me, the ENB mods don't crash the game at least. Going to try disabling them and seeing if it loads Now thats odd, the ENB mods didn't even transfer over
raveraptor Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 Update: Because the mod manager decided to turn on EVERYTHING like shit mods I never used, I turned them off and now New Game works. Going to try the save game thing now Nothing came up in the game saves aside from the "Missing ESP" stuff. Gonna try loading
raveraptor Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 Alright, game loaded after about 12-15 messages on the loading screen, did not bother to keep time (Which I should have.) Going to try removing a few more things
raveraptor Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 Well, load times are obscenely long between fast travels and loading the game, but it functions. Any ideas on how to reduce load time?
raveraptor Posted April 30, 2016 Author Posted April 30, 2016 Shit, I had it going a bit faster by disabling some of the water mods and the grass mod (Put grass in places where it'd clip, so no real loss) But broke it again with unlimited load times again. Heres the new load order. Don't know how I keep messing up. loadorder.txt
raveraptor Posted April 30, 2016 Author Posted April 30, 2016 Disabled some more mods like Optimized Vanilla Textures, got it to load a game, but everything turned weird like the lighting system was completely gone and everything was black aside from a few things. Gonna try again and see what happens. Well, got it to load again, but... Back to muddy default textures. Doesn't make much sense how that happened when the HD textures worked before. Oh well, functioning is better than broken. Well, got it to load again, but... Back to muddy default textures. Doesn't make much sense how that happened when the HD textures worked before. Guest Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 I can only wish you to find a solution. Moral Support.
raveraptor Posted April 30, 2016 Author Posted April 30, 2016 That didn't last long. Had a crash and the everything is black glitch happened again
raveraptor Posted April 30, 2016 Author Posted April 30, 2016 And back to the infinite load. So, the problem is completely random. So the plan now is: Step 1: Uninstall everything, mods, game, saves, everything has to go. Step 2: Reinstall game Step 3: Reinstall mod sets starting with graphic overhaul, ending with Loverslab related and test functionality between sets. Step 4: Pray it all works.
myuhinny Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 If you use wrye bash you can load it up and it has a save tab which when selected will show you every save you have for the game clicking on one will then show you what your load order was at the time that save was made so you can then move them to their proper spots. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1840/?
tenzan Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Something that helps me is naming conventions per mod install. If something has to do with animations, I add 'Anim - ' to the name and make sure to include the name of the mod afterwards (I think hitting arrow down adds the full name.) Base, Root, Functionality, HDT, SOS, Gameplay, Tools, Textures, Weapons, Armor, SL, etc. If something has multiple tags, add multiple tags. This way you can get a quick idea of what might go with what, what should generally stay at the top, and you can move low impact stuff like armor and weapons toward the bottom. Put RaceMenu.esp near the top below SkyUI, followed by the other RaceMenu stuff. Schlongs of Skyrim.esp should be above other SOS anythings. Also if you can make it to the main menu, open console and use 'coc qasmoke' then try loading a game from there.
raveraptor Posted April 30, 2016 Author Posted April 30, 2016 Updating: So got all the graphic overhaul mods put in. My god. It's beautiful. Though, have not explored much farther than the starting cart ride with Non-descript Nord, Johny the Horse Snatcher, and the screamer. Going to be putting in Sky UI, radial menu, and Racemenu as per Tenzan's suggestion. Wish me luck!
raveraptor Posted April 30, 2016 Author Posted April 30, 2016 So far so good, making another backup and got my mod order similar to Myt's, though not with as many mods Will totally look up some of those other mods because they look pretty interesting. Going to be adding the racial mods I had now
raveraptor Posted April 30, 2016 Author Posted April 30, 2016 Race mods are working fantastic! Load times are normal, no more than 2-3 minutes. Now for the better bodies mods for SOS, sexlab, and what-not
raveraptor Posted April 30, 2016 Author Posted April 30, 2016 Update! Everything along the racial and SOS side seems to work fine. However, SOSFloppy is giving me problems about installing "RCAE" even though I've installed it properly, so until that is fixed, can't move. So! Going to mess around with that
