GingerTroll Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Finally, EA got something right with TS4. Simmers have been demanding the return of restaurants since TS3 never got them so it's cool that it only took them 7 years to do it.

The Bistro comes to mind -- you get it with Hidden Springs, I think. Once you have it installed you can build your own.
Dee383 Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 No Matter How Many Stuff Packs And Expansions Or Addons They Give Us For Sims 4 The Game Will Still Be Boring .... Sims 3 Base Game Still Has More Content Than Sims 4 With All Available Addons,Stuff Packs & Expansion Packs ... I Made A Stupid Mistake Of Buying S4 + All Available DLC Packs And I Bloody Wish I Hadnt .... I Wish I Had Bought All The Remaining Expansions + Stuff Packs I Didnt Have For S3 Instead. The Game May Have Some Performance Issues But It Is Still A Better Game Than Sims 4 Ever Will Be ......
Darkening Demise Posted April 19, 2016 Author Posted April 19, 2016 They have yet to release further info. We have no clue if the restaurant is a secret lot like the Get To Work work lots that can't be edited without cheats and severe glitches/crashes, what the stuff pack contains, if we can even build restaurants, own a restaurant, or even run a restaurant. People are still upset that the 'big announcement' was a crappy 'teaser' that tells us jack shit.
Darkening Demise Posted April 21, 2016 Author Posted April 21, 2016 https://twitter.com/TheSims/status/722892613913718784 The return of the Tragic Clown teased.
datkitten Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 This was amazingly anticlimactic. I'm starting to think EA will never release an actually useful expansion pack. Hell, back in the day for Sims 2 the first expansion pack was University! Not only did they remove 60% of gameplay features that should've been included from the start, looks like they won't even make it back. The only good expansion pack so far is Get Together and that's it.
Khlas Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 https://twitter.com/TheSims/status/722892613913718784 The return of the Tragic Clown teased. IF this is only a simple NPC with custom clothes you can use in CAS it show that the devs are lazy. Anyway, restaurants are in a gamepack, I shouldn't expect too much from it. Oh and hey, it's about Sims 4 here...

I meant in the style they had in TS2 where you could actually walk in, sit down, and order instead of just a rabbit hole. The Bistro is also a premium store pack if I remember correctly. I'd honestly rather have them with an expansion than purchase them on the store.
