proposition : darkest skyrim

You know, I moved on the witcher recently... and I'm thinking the dark atmosphere of this game is very nice.

 

So, why not developing mods with a darker atmosphere ?

I'm thinking about the chapter 1 of the witcher 1 : the beast.

 

It can be easily adapted to Skyrim...

- a village (dragonbridge ?)

- a sexy witch

- some citizens

- a dark story  you will inquiry about the beast, and learn the villagers secrets...

- a choice : let the with being hanged (maria prostitution scripts are very good for that) or save her and face the angry villagers.

- a second choice : defeat the beast or let her tormant the village.

 

I'm still thinking about the madness moutain mod...

Really ? AFS, FTD and TID too ? All the side quests ?

 

For now my ideas are :

 

- madness montain : a player as slave adventure, with a group of warlocks... exploring a forgotten ruin. I think to include it into FTD. I found all the ressources I need...

- proposal : the beast. I need : a village, a priest, a seller/dealer, a drunk rich man, a rapest, a dead raped girl, a witch, and a beast.

Ressources needed : the normal and sexy outfit for the witch (http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/File:Romance_card_Abigail.png), the beast (a big hound, something better ?). Maybe in another mod (AFS ?).

there is a dark mod expansion of Old Hroldan by Shezrie that might work really well for something like this..

Can be nice yes... the witch will be a forsworn, for sure.

 

I think developing independant mods are simpler, so, after finishing the witcher, I will develop Madness moutain and the beast as single esp. When they will be ended, I hope to merge them with other mods (AFS for the witch, FTD for the madness moutain).

In fact, there is another thing, not very dark, but it can be :

 

Brothel keeper.

The idea : player will build his/her brothel, buy the building, hire the girls, animals maybe, entertain the clients, pay the taxes, etc... I think we don't have things like that on LL, except in Fallout (the coito ergo sum mods)

I see parts of the 1st idea in Your very own mod "devious stories", where you have to kill a daedra-worshipper and her daughter at shors stone.

I think that you can offer a choice in this: - a - kill the worshippers and become a full member of the vigilants, or - b - save them and the vigilants will hunt you.

Possible, yes... I wish to finish Devious stories, but I'm better in quests mods than things like events mods...

Problem is not creating what ever dark atmosphere you want,

I think for most it's not being able to create the mod ...for one reason or another.

 

Personally one(not all of them) of the reasons why I feel discouraged to even try,

is the fact that the animations could be better done, they are at best mediocre.

I have only seen proper animations on Skyrim material found on pornhub, where

the author/creator have managed to somehow make an animated'ish short movie

(no clue how they do it, but there are material with bad animations too).

Animations are very hard to edit...  and we don't need that for make skyrim darkest.... even the hanging animation work.

The first apologize for my bad English is not my language.

 

The second thing to say that I have really enjoyed all mods especially Forsworn A Story and From the Deeps.

 

Third, maybe this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/67559/? I can give you ideas of a gloomy atmosphere for the people, it is a very detailed mod but not just missions (I consider it a little waste) maybe an artist like ustes be able to get good ideas for missions.  (especially the cathedral gives much bad juju)

 

Fourth, forgive my boldness but could be considered for a future mod the idea of a follower of Molag Bal with a chain of missions in which you can end up being a daughter of Coldharbour?
