KristenSkye Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Among the first mods I was downloading, were those for replacing settlements, homes, or adding the latter. The very first of these was JK Riverwood, JK Whiterun, Breezehome FullyUpgradable and Leaf Rest. Of course, a lot of home related mods add mannequins, which wasn't a problem for me. They're actually pretty cool. I think it was Leaf Rest (not sure) that added Mannequins Look Like You. Again, that's fine, because I was struggling to find it anyway. The problem I'm having is what you can probably see in the attached screenshot. For whatever reason, hair is showing through helmets, cowls and such. I'm pretty sure it isn't anything else I'm using, but the Mannequins, because this isn't happening with my actual character. If anyone can point me in the direction of a fix (google was turning up the usual irrelevant nonsense), or a similar female mannequin mod that uses human textures, it would be greatly appreciated. However, if the latter, my question then would be if I can install it like any other mod, as what I have I suspect was included with Leaf Rest. I don't want to trade one problem for another, lol.
myuhinny Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 I have used mannequins look like you before and for me it was always a problematic mod and eventually I just dumped it and never went back. Mannequins moving around and not where they were suppose to be a few times I left a room forgot something turned around to go back to the other room and had a mannequin right behind my ass like it was about to kill me. CTD when bringing up the menus scene while in the same cell as they were in. The mod looked cool but just wasn't worth all the problems it caused.

I would never use it.

I would never use it. Then do not install them, all it means is it will use the faces/textures/hair etc from default, and as its a manequin who cares about its hair and such. Apart from cbbe I have none of the pre-reqs installed and it works ok for me.
