Ryanhabs Posted July 14, 2011 Author Posted July 14, 2011 Greetings from Tokyo or should I say konichiwa. Thanks to the flight from east coast US to Tokyo I'm now missing a day all together. I boarded a plane on Wed evening and got off it on Friday morning at almost 5am. I'll try to find free time to take some pics of some japanese stuff for y'all.

My company made all my reservations so I didn't know where I was staying or what to expect, but whenever they send me somewhere its never anything adverage as I sometimes have to have late meetings concerning business. The best room in this suite is the bathroom imo. LOL Jaquzzi tub and an enclosed rain fall shower / rinse off station. Its so freaking relaxing.

Ryanhabs Posted July 21, 2011 Author Posted July 21, 2011 Ok so my title for this thread now is a lie. I just realized last night that if I fly back on the day I'm scheduled to leave Japan... I will end up traveling my entire birthday. FUCK THAT! Especially when some new friends said they want to help me celebrate. So I extended my trip by 5 more days. Thankfully I was able to extend my stay at the hot springs resort for the 4 nights / 5 days extension. Hell, maybe I'll find an excuse to stay over here... I love this country!

Not looking forward to 16 hrs of travel + an hours drive home from the airport on the 30th. Although the resort I'm staying at caught wind that I will still be there for my birthday and they are having some special thing here for me
Ryanhabs Posted July 30, 2011 Author Posted July 30, 2011 It has been a long strange trip. (LOL, I always wanted to use that line ) I finally made it back home and got a decent 5 hrs sleep. As cool as Japan is, it feels good to be back home.

I usually got your average single from my company, then again the meetings were at client offices. At least I had a bit of an expense account to make up for that while hanging out at the bars claiming them for dinner expenses.
