Try enabling only some mods and progressivly add more until you have CTD, then look for compatibility issues of the mod causing problems online. To test more easily when a the menu before starting a new game hit the ² key to open the console and type "coc whiterun" (without the quotes).

That's very unlikely, CTD are usually caused by conflicts between mods

I may think it cause by heavy script mods like sexlab... your running to many mods at start up, I get it a lot on a new game also. Only have the basic/essential stuff running till you leave the cave then slowly add a few at a time.
Kriegera Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Worth noting that the vanilla start is overly long as well as being buggy as fuck. You're better off using an alternate start mod like Unbound or Live another life.
myuhinny Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 A few times I was getting a CTD entering Helgen so I just bypassed the whole thing by using a alternate start mod and you will start in a different area. A CTD can also be caused by a outfit armor or body. I have had armors and outfits do it before as well as bodies.

D_ManXX2 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Don't use mods that change npc/ or add new stuff to npc, this will mostly bug out the beginning intro. either you crash or the cart right will go so wonky it will keep bumping all around and will never finish. 2 things you can do is use an alternate start mod or disable all mods run the beginning intro and once you leave the cave it is save to activate all your mods.
