Big armor / clothing merges? (Sevenbase, bombshell HDT)

I was doing some merging of my own the other day and partially succeeded.
Then I got an idea after seeing a big file with the name "Alan Armorpack".

(also did anyone make a conversion for bombshell?)

Are there knowledge of any other bigger packs? I'm one of those people

where it's very difficult to not download a huge ton of armors / clothing.

And why merge my own packs if there are finished ones out there.

This might help someone else too, I hope.

There are not many for the sole reason as you would have to be the author and all the mods in the pack would have to be theirs. If someone were to make a big pack to upload they would have to have permission from each author of each outfit in the pack as well as every time there is a update the pack would have to be updated. Many authors will not allow their stuff to be in a pack mod.

Oh yes of course, that is an issue. Maybe if a few in here (for an example) collaborated and made a few bigger combined packs,

that'd be really great. Would just be a matter of entering the makers of the sets.

I have big problems to understand most of the things and I'm learning

through practical use, somehow I end up almost getting it right.

Try different approaches to learn and you might find the right method

for you. :) Sorry if that all sounds very diffuse.

Nope, there is no hope for me.

Many months I learned how to work  bodyslide and even today I have a problem. On Nexus is a mod to combine esp, very simple, but it requires MO or NMM. Both are difficult for me. I learned a long time CS and nifscope for Oblivion, but I've always been behind. That's why I often use the work of others and I am glad that they do.

Most of the ones I know of are cbbe, a couple are unpb, and as other said permissions is the big reason you do not see many more.

Though this is the way I create my merged armour packs;

Download and unzip all the files into a working directory.

Shuffle all of the various directories around so that all the meshes/textures and esp are in the right location, if there are bodyslide files make sure they are in the right place in relation to the meshes\textures and whatnot

Create a new directory called readme and another one called screenshots and move all the readme files, re-nameing as required, usually to the mods name, eg if the mod is called greensheet.esp chances are the readme will be just readme.txt change it to greensheet.txt, so you don't overwrite the readme with others later.   Move the screenshots from each mod into the sub-directory called screenshots and create seperate folders under that for each mod.

Do a quick check over to make sure all is in the right places, and then re-zip the whole lot and name it, in my case it would be mergedarmorpackxxx with the xxx starting at 001 and going up by 1 for each new pack.

Make sure that you have the installed this tesvedit scrip if you have not already, http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37981/? and that its correctly placed.  There are decent guides on how to merge plugins on this page.

Install the merged armor pack into mod organiser, activating the new mod, and watching to make sure all the esp are active, for a quick and dirty merge, now just fire up tesvedit, and select all the esp for the armour you want to merge, wait till its all loaded up and sorted out, now select just the esp for all the armour mods, ignore any esm you find especially hdt or things like that, now right click anywhere in the mod list and choose apply script, from the list choose the Merge Plugins vx.x x.x is the version number which is currently 1.9 I think, from there select which options you want or need, and apply, then wait. After a while you should then get the options pop up choose which ones you want, wait a bit, and your done, it should if you set it up copy all the meshes/textures/scripts etc to a working directory you choose, it will put the esp for the new mod either in the overwrite or in the directory you chose earlier.  Make sure the new merged esp is in the merged pack mod the re-zip it all up and install, use something like add all items to make sure all the meshes an texures are there.
