senopeso Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 So I started a new game with many of the Sexlab etc mods installed, but without Slaverun. Everything went fine until I got back from killing the first dragon at the Watchtower. The Jarl assigned Lydia to me as usual, but I had the camera pointing down the hall to the main door at the end. After his "I assign you Lydia ... etc" speech, Lydia spawned in through the main door --naked-- but carrying a battleaxe. There was then a general melee started by ... I'm not sure whether it was she or the guards ... but many of the guards and Irileth started fighting Lydia, and she was reduced to "near death" but since she is a housecarl she cannot be killed completely except by the player. So after a few seconds she recovered and started swinging again. This happened several times, so knowing that in theory I the player can kill her, I joined in. But I was unable to kill her, despite trying several times, reducing her to near death, and her recovering again. Some mod has made her immortal but not invulnerable. I had this scene once when I arrived in the normal way, and then one again when I restored the on-entry autosave exactly the same thing happened. The only course I could take was to quit. Of course I still have the on-entry autosave. The fact that she was naked is the only thing that makes me think it's something in the adult mods that causes this. Any ideas? Or is it a planned plot branch? Do I have mods which conflict with each other? Here is a list of my active mods: Sorry it's in alphabetical order but that is how the MO export to CSV does it. myuhinny Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Pretty sure ShowRaceMenu Precache Killer is now built into race menu and it's no longer needed. Have you checked the most obvious of your mods like the MyTypeNpc - Project Housecarl since it looks like it is for housecarls. Try turning it off and see if it is that one that is causing it. Another way to see what is doing what is to fire up TES5EDIT wait till it loads everything up then go to the skyrim .esp and start searching for anything that is altering her.
senopeso Posted January 11, 2016 Author Posted January 11, 2016 I unchecked "MyTypeNpc - Project Housecarl" in MO and tried again with the same result except that this time Lydia was at least clothed! I will try removing some others.

senopeso Posted January 11, 2016 Author Posted January 11, 2016 Ok here it is, as a PNG which in this case is about 20% smaller than the equivalent JPG. This is a screencap from my secondary monitor which is a 1080x1920, ie in portrait mode. I hope it is complete enough. I am a real noob so I'm sure you are going to find dozens of things wrong. I am very technical (software engineer) but have no gaming or modding experience. Ignore GabriellaSenopeso which is my laughable first Creationkit NPC with no behavior whatsoever. Ignore ElliF which is a save of a PC I liked. I do know my way around Skyrim, I have about 400 hours logged on Steam.
myuhinny Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Not sure about other people but I for one will not even try to read anything in the screenshot because we would have to put their face right up to the computer screen to try to make that stuff out. Which would be very hard on our eyes.
senopeso Posted January 12, 2016 Author Posted January 12, 2016 It's nothing more than 1920x1080 png file, 307KB, rotated 90 degrees -- identical to the HD displays almost everyone has nowadays. As a jpg it would have been 370KB. I'm sorry, but you make it sound like I am torturing you but that was not my intention at all. I don't know how such a list could be rendered any better. The trouble is the LoversLab website software presents it in a much lower resolution and assumes you can still read it, and provides no means I can find of downloading it in full resolution. I don't know how I can fix that. They let you upload up to 100MB but won't let you see a 300KB image in full resolution, which is, to say the least, odd.
snarfies Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Do you have any sort of Bashed Patch and/or Merged Patch? I can tell you right off the bat that that BTRH stuff breaks changes made by USKP/USLEEP that you need to resolve with a Merged Patch. Like maybe including factions and outfits.

All the mods I have installed are clean downloads either from Nexus or LL and I have changed nothing inside any of those mods. I have also merged nothing. All I have done is try to run the FNIS utility at least as often as necessary, and have been advised to tweak the order of some of the body mods like XPMSE which I now put very close to last. Other than that it's vanilla. And it has all been done in the last ten days or so, which means I haven't had much time to mess with any of it. Interestingly yesterday with this exact set of mods I completed this part OK and reached Ustengrav with Lydia (Horn of Jurgen ...) but it was with an experimental female PC and I decided it would be more fun to play this set of mods as a male. I started from scratch this morning, and did the first two items, Bleak Falls Barrow and Killing the first dragon, and that was when I met up with Rogue Naked Lydia. Incidentally I do have cutie Hikari and her hideous scythe with me as well, in both cases, (I have AFT installed).

"stopcombat""setrelationshiprank player 3""disable""enable" She vanished. There was a brief pause, but she came right back swinging her battleaxe. What could possibly change her so drastically? The only mod I have which touches her is MyTypeNPC Project Housecarl and I already tried removing that.
