Everything in there belongs ONLY to the original author! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------FIRST OF ALL:I do NOT own this Mod, neither I want to bring issues about the Mod ownership. If this is the wrong section to post this thread, please move it where it should stay. If someone doesn't want this to be shared here, in particular the author, I will remove it immediately without any problem. I'm just sharing what I have, and I don't claim anything. Sorry for my weird English, but I'm Italian.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------DOWNLOAD:(Thanks to me9230 for sharing this Tauriel with Tats) download link removed as asked by many users.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------HOW TO INSTALL:Put the .Esp file and the Meshes & Textures folders inside your Data folder (overwrite everything if asked), then activate the Mod with your Mod Manager. Tauriel should be waiting for you in the Drunken Huntsman. If you want to find her immediately by making a copy, just open the Consolle with " \ " and type " Help Tauriel 4 " , when you see her NPC CODE in the List , type: " Player.Placeatme (TypeHereTheCode) 1 " and Tauriel will spawn near you in a while. She is a Standalone Follower with UNP body (I guess) and no other Mods are required to make it work. I'll fix the main post. Anyone knows about permissions to post m0kin9bird's mods? Is it okay to keep the download here?

Also placeatme makes a copy. you want "prid <RefID>" and "moveto player" Only looked for a second and jumped out because of texture issues on the copy I summoned via console.

Many users had problems with the textures, maybe reaching the original Tauriel at the drunken huntsman can resolve this issue (since cloning her with the consolle makes a blue copy of Tauriel). However I've never had problems with cloning NPCs with consolle (and trust me, I run skyrim in low resolution, since my computer it's a damn toaster, and probably every other computer runs Skyrim and this mod better than mine). Feel free to change the body texture and meshes, maybe this can fix the body problem as well.

Even heading to her location led her to be purple. I've got an old copy of Tauriel that I found a long time ago on some Russian site if you want to compare it. Unfortunately, they translated some of the stuff into Russian in the esps, so you'll have to go back in and change it back to english otherwise her name will look like wingdings in the game.

YellowPlatypus Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 textures > actors > characters rename characters to character and the textures will load, might not fix everything though. For me at least there are still a couple issues, head texture darker than body texture and the eyes are really messed up. That's probably just because of my other mods though... Eye issue isn't the one where the eyelashes are wrong, I know there's a patch for that. It's more like her eyes don't quite line up with their sockets, they're positioned too far back and too far up.
Vermithraxe Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Guys and gals I have used this mod before and had no issues with the textures before it was removed from Nexus, unfortunately I had erased the mod accidentaly and was very happy to find the link here. However the textures are crapped now for some unknown reason and the only likely way to fix it will to be getting the author to fix what is missing. After checking his websight it is unlikely that he will agree to do anything about the isssue. Sadly this is one mod I will sorely miss do to my own accident deleting it only to find out it was removed from nexus sight.
Vermithraxe Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 aedesius points out about the fixing the " characters" to character file name and it does correct the textures for the body and hair, bad part is he also pointed out that the head and eyes might still be messed up which I seem to have as well . Guess I will mess around and see if I can correct that as well but load order does not seem to fix the dark head and eyes. Maybe it might have something to do with the mod being something other than UNP could be the issue . I dont remember if the mod was UNP or some other body type . I use UNP so its possible that might be the issue.

One thing I noticed about the folder structure of the archive is that the Data folder with all the files is three layers deep into the archive. Not sure if that has any bearing on the texture problems people are having. If m0ckin9bird is ok with the mod being shared, I could put it up here.

In another words, have you gotten permissions to have it on LL? Even you said you are unsure and stated as such.. Anyone knows about permissions to post m0kin9bird's mods? Is it okay to keep the download here? If you're truly unsure - I think it's best to contact the author to get their permissions. If you spend any time on her Tumbler - you'll come across a couple of postings that shed some light into her being banned from The Nexus.. Given what I read of that experience - I'm feel you owe it her to get the appropriate permissions. Sorry for being the stick in the mud, but I hate to see Skyrim lose a talented author because they've had enough with the unauthorized usage of their hard work. [ghost]

Thanks me9230, for finding a better version than the one I had anyway those tribal tattoos are kinda... ew. I'll contact m0ckin9bird as soon as I can for asking him to keep here this mod, hopefully he will re-upload it by himself, or give us a better version.

Since I'm unable to contact m0ckin9bird, I would like to ask you to do it.I do know that it's not ok to upload other people works without explicit authorization, but this mod was here once, and that user is now banned. You know, I don't upload these from "My Files", but with public threads, saying everytime that I don't own the things I share. If you don't want me to give Tauriel to anybody else, just say it and I will remove the download link, making lots of people very sad for the loss.
