AwfulArchdemon Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 So, I just got a 0kb update to Skyrim. Anyone know wtf it's for? What it does? With Fallout 4 out, I find it amazing we just got a new update for Skyrim...
AwfulArchdemon Posted December 12, 2015 Author Posted December 12, 2015 No one? This is Skyrim....what dafuq could a 0kb update be doing at this point? There's no way I'm the only one who saw an update notification on Steam for Skyrim...
nitiste Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 No, you are not the only one. I do not have any idea what it is about, either.
Dreamweaver Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 I didn't notice a patch download, but I opened Steam in the background while I was doing other things. The only Skyrim-related files or folders I've got that were updated today, as far as I can tell, are in Mod Organizer, but that's because I updated a couple of mods in it this morning. Â I can't find any way through Steam itself to see what was downloaded or that anything was downloaded at all. Clicking on Skyrim's update history takes me to a news page about mostly Fallout 4. Â If there isn't a way of checking it, they really should implement one.
PsychoMachina Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Maybe something going on with Steam and nothing related to the game itself, hence the 0kb download.
AwfulArchdemon Posted December 12, 2015 Author Posted December 12, 2015 I would think it's nothing too, but DOA got a similar update too (0kb) for their new costumes. Hmm...oh well, as long as MO and it's mods still work, I'm fappy happy.
myuhinny Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Hard to say I haven't seen a update for anything.
fgambler Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Most likely it's just workshop updates. Official support for Skyrim was discontinued ~3 years ago.
