So I just got an 26 emails, addressed to another users, updating me on all the content they follow, sent to my email address.

Was there some kind of a database error? Did someone else get my watched content email?

Was an error during the transfer, some others have reported it as well. I've disabled those emails from sending until I can figure out the cause.

Cool, boss. Best of luck with the rest of the process.

I had the same thing happen to me this morning.  I already reported it to Ashal, BUT ...

Send Ashal a pic of one of the emails you received... he asked me for one but I had deleted them before I started thinking!

As a quick update; this was apparently an issue with the most recent update of the updated forum software the site just moved off of. Before doing the move I updated the archive.loverslab.com forums to the update they had just posted, 4.1.5. An hour or so ago they just posted a 4.1.5.1 hotfix update with this line in the changelog:

  • Emails may not send correctly, or may send to the wrong person

So presumably, that explains that. It's more or less moot now though, as I disabled all digest emails on both the current version of the site and the archive version earlier. After verifying this was indeed the cause and it's safe to re-enable digest emails, I'll go ahead and so so. Until then, apologies for the email spam and resulting lack of email follow updates.
