astor Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 I can't find anything about LOOT being updated for FO4, and Mod Organizer hasn't had an update in a while, and it's LOOT button doesn't work (obviously). So, how do i sort my mods properly? I try to arrange them like i think LOOT would do it, but i'm a modding idiot, so i'm doubtlessly screwing something up.
RitualClarity Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Mods that will be used for Fo4 most likely will be few until the CK or GECK for it has been released. Before load order managers the trick was to look at the "masters' of the mod in question. Then arrange the mods in the order that allows those "masters" to be above the mod in question. This is basically what a load order program is doing. Same with TESedit etc. It is just checking to be sure all the "masters" that a mod needs are loaded above it .

Not with MO unless you use the Alpha FO4 version..........
Guest Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 LOOT is not required for Fallout 4, until there will be mods that have other mods as dependency. And it is not the case now. Not before the F4CK will be released.
Akzyra Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Just read descriptions and you should be fine. If some mod has requirements they will be listed. There are patches already, so not 100% true. But no mods that are really sensitive about order. And if that is gonna be the official calling name... FACK, lel

And because there is no easy way now to have a mod depending on another, then it is NOT yet required. About the name of the "CK" nothing is official. Aaaaaand, I don't think Bethesda will call it F4CK... My bad.

I think they won't do that.. however after playing it for awhile I am sure they used a few F words .
Akzyra Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 LOOT now at nexus Prob. not gonna be the official calling name, but hey, use it as a joke if it fucks up, throws errors or decides it randomly quits because it doesn't like your PC/the mod you are creating/ whatever reason.
