Mylor41 Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Well, I had the son as a follower and there was certainly plenty of *extra-curricular* activity while he was along. So that should have completed any quest requirements for him. Now, I have Dynamic Follower Dialogue installed and that adds many new comments for followers and it seems to be working well. So when sonny boy there started asking, "Say when are you going to find yourself a woman?" -- well, that level of impertinence just cannot be tolerated. So I had to dismiss him as a follower. But he then became a stalker. Now, I don't recall setting Blackthorn Manor to his home so I'm not sure why he kept showing up there, but I might have. So I finally took him back the guest house at Elysium Estate and set that to his home (My Home Is Your Home) and dismissed him there. I think that solved the stalker issue. :crossed fingers:

I also checked Whiterun itself. Does he spawn someplace else? PS: I think I nailed this down. I installed the most recent version of Elysium Estate (4.3.5). That does not work. Installed 4.1.1 (with the no kids option) and all works fine. Obviously something in the newer version changed enough assets that the guys could not spawn. Also the map marker worked now too. Ugh. Man, I hate debugging mod orders. Ok so the above is not it. The current version Elysium is fine. I think what happened is that I decided to try this out with an older clean save, where I was level 34 (TG and DB completed). No mods for that run through - just a clean save starting at that point. I've used this start a few times. Trouble is any new quests the use the courier all spawn their letters at the same time. Normally not a problem. But with this mod it is. So something like the Forgotten City (if you haven't played it.. do it now - amazing quest and locations), where the letter is opened (and read) upon receipt interferes with this mod's letter which [also] starts a quest upon receipt . Since Forgotten City has a level requirement (level 10); to test this I started a new game. And sure enough at level 1 this mod's letter arrived and all was good. Then after some rather good times, at level 10 the Forgotten City's letter arrived. Everything worked. Odd, I know. But such is life in Skyrim. Hope this guides anyone in the future with a similar setup.
Crag Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Man.. that house is just too fucking much. A couple of CTD's (but nothing horrible) just the design. I mean, it's beautiful but tries to do too much. I'm assuming I can move the father and son to the Studly Farm with no issues? I'm gonna try it.
HinaChan Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 Plz note Estate version 5 has NO guest house or options for it.... Took me over 7 hours to pin point the issue. So 4.3.5 or newer has guest house. BTW loving the mod now I got it working .

You need guest house in backyard then map marker pops right up.

I have received the letter and have unlocked the estate, but I can not find the followers, sorry if it is a stupid question, but would really appreciate any help, thank you in advance. ?
DarkZephyr Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 For some reason, the note is not spawning in my inventory. The courier does run up to me and tell me about it, and I get a quest update telling me to read the note, but I can't find the note among my books and notes.

The problem is, when all the things needed is ready, I couldn't find those character in the game. The beginning note, the dog, the horse are all there, but didn't see any people. How come? If still doesn't work rename the archive to remove the ' from it.

My BK plugin does not recognize any of the older versions. Same. Originally downloaded the latest version of Elysium. Fast traveled to Whiterun stables and walked the short distance to the house. The Courier was right there waiting for me, gave me the letter, and triggered the quest. No markers and no father and brother due to the newest version of Elysium not having the guest house. So I removed both mods, downloaded version 4.3.5 of Elysium, installed it, then installed BK again. Did the same thing; fast traveled to the stables and walked to the house, and the guest house was there. No courier. I wait and wait and wait, and do some random fast travels, still no courier.

I can't get the courier to bring me anything and I have used opencontainer and he doesn't have a letter. I have checked to have the right version just thought I could keep the quest tidy with the ID for commands. Thanks and much love for your talent and creativity

Vortex gives the "Oblivion" error: "NosPiercedEarsAll.bsa - is loaded by NosPiercedEarsAll.esp, but is intended for use in Oblivion." And it doesn't work with the older 0.5 version. You have to choose "AlternativeBodySlot55 - all-in-one-60901-0-6.7z" in Optional Downloads. Edited January 1, 2022 by DaddyBearLovr
