I've been messing with the navmesh around blackwolf lodge addon to add patrol routes for my guards. Navmeshing, not fun I must say. I get obsessive, ck is buggy as hell, navmeshes are an imperfect beast, not a good combo lol. sorry, no news on the pigeon toes, but my guards are wandering the west paddock now :P

 

I need to revisit all my armors, both on here and my collection for the new HDT SMP body I'm tinkering with. I do like it over the HDT PE system. I never could get thigh bones to behave on that one...I wish I had a better internet connection, I'd share more. as it is it takes a few tries and nearly an hour to upload an armor conversion.

 

 I'll go play with the boots, see what state I left them in, I remember being disappointed after rotating them a good amount and they still looked turned in, even after aligning them with the foot model. Then I thought maybe I was just being too critical of what I was doing and took a step away and did the engineer set, then fallout and gta hit...now I'm stalling lol

 

*edit* Ok, here it is the NiO HH version, test it out, let me know.  I havent replaced the original boots yet, this will create another entry for the boots with "turned" appended to the name. After I hear back I'll replace it in the download officially and tidy things up.  Not sure I even want to do the non HH boots, does anyone use them anymore?

What kind of HDT SMP stuff you are working on? I've never used SMP due to it being unpopular, but perhaps it could be worth switching finally. Too bad its not backwards compatible. :(

 

Btw, I tested "PigeonsBGone", and you overdone it with the feet rotation. :)

 

The foot is too long and it looks like the left boot is equipped on right foot and right on left. I wonder if it wouldnt be enough if you rotated each boot as whole to the right and left along the Z axis? Without touching the original upper-boot to lower-boot ratio? I could be wrong, because I don't have any 3D soft installed currently, so the only comparison I did was in-game.

In my defense, these boots already look like they are on the wrong feet to start with :P

 

I did not change the overall length of the foot, it was a z axis rotation, and then manually realigning it with the top of the boot which was masked to keep it in position, although it looks like I buggered the shape somehow. I need some bubblewrap.

 

I'll give it another go...

 

as a side note I've come upon a problem either with bodyslide or Modorganizer hitting a limit on how many outfits it will show in its list. Currently it is only displaying my library up to the names that start with L. Everything I've done after L like "onechanbara" needs to be loaded by typing  in the directory. Open project has a similar problem but will usually  show them after I cancel the first open attempt and then do another.

this in not a fun process, bodyslide seems to bug out if you move the rotate slider too far and randomly throws a vertex or 2 into upper orbit, and it doesnt seem to matter if they are masked or not. Undo does not revert the stray points either.  Had to scrap it a couple of times because of this. Here is another effort, submitted for your approval.  I aligned the point of the boot with the second toe on each boot, still without changing the length of the boot :P  If I invert the mask from one boot to another it seems to cause issues with the random vertex shooting out of the model, so you have to remake the mask for each foot and each of the 2 other pieces on each foot.

 

I dont use any 3d editing program outside of Bodyslide. I briefly used Blender back when Oblivion was new and AlienSlof had tutorials for reshaping armor with a matrix. This is much easier. (her work is what got me started modding Oblivion and her treatment by some in the modding community was a shame, I'm glad to see she has a site back up now.)  

 

Lots of bodyslide weirdness going on. merge sliders doesnt work the way it used to for me. Merging is just keeping the old sliders and none of the new, and then using the old directory for slider data after you conform and save, without updating the slider files at all. I should ask Cell about this. Anyways, the last ones where turned over 11 degrees, I tried 5, didnt look like enough, so here is 7.2 :P and I'm going to bed lol

As far as the SMP body goes, I added bones and weights for the Quadriceps, Hamstrings, and calves and put the old tbbp breast01 bones back in to get a more fluid movement up top.  Have collisions working for the butt and breast, well,  better than the hdt pe setup I had. As far as the legs go, I'm not so sure it is worth it, the movement is subtle when it is working, and spazzy when it glitches.

I'd post a video, but my internet is crap I'm looking at you, FRONTIER, crap I say!  I had better speeds with verizon (~5mbps) before they sold the state off to frontier (now ~2.5 on a good day, with lots of reset connections when trying to upload) even with the all the upgrades frontier claims they have done. They have lied to me about capping the area (several of their repair people tell me it is capped, escalated service calls get me to techs that tell me it is capped, while the regional office denies it) and overcharge for a speed we cannot get with the cap they have in place. I dont expect blazing speeds living in a rural area, but when the first thing they did was cap it at half the speed.....

Yeah, looks like... You still did a good job with the latest version, probably the best what could be done without going into manual polygon/vertex level editing mode.

 

Also that tiny texture glitch, that was also present in original version, we will have to live with it. :)

Lol, I feel you! Hope you will overcome connection issues and share some of your private bodyslide collection eventually. ;)
