Having trouble DL'ing from LL, no trouble DL'ing from nexus or basically anywhere else, im pretty sure the problem is my internet taking to long to ping the server and timing out.  I've cleared my cache and cookies using chrome, FF, and IE.   Specifically when the site redirects me after the 15 second wait timer im fairly certain it goes through an authentication process to see if I am a supporter and the resulting time it takes to ping times me out and kicks back the message please contact an administrator.  So my question is, does anyone know of a trick to cut that time down on my end?   Or have anyother useful tips other than clear the cache/ cookies.  Thanks

I'm resetting my router regularly, I mean, when I notice strange behaving. I also use this "trick":

Windows 7

To clear your DNS cache if you use Windows 7, perform the following steps:

  1. Click Start.
  2. Enter cmd in the Start menu search text box.
  3. Right-click Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator.
  4. Run the following command:

    ipconfig /flushdns

If the command succeeds, the system returns the following message:

Windows IP configuration successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.

Being a supporter has nothing to do with downloads there is no restrictions wither you are a supporter or not. Check any things like virus protection - zone alarm or any other tool you use to make sure none of them are preventing you from downloading as well as check and see what restriction your service provider might have or if they are causing any of the download problems.

Try loading the site with Chrome and click on the white page icon to the left of the address bar, choose "show cookies and site data" and check for a cookie that has the word "download" in it, in both "Allowed" and "Blocked" tabs. If you find one in the Allowed tab delete it and try downloading again. If you find one in Blocked tab then there's problem.

You can always check whether or not it's a problem with your browser or with your OS or with your Internet connection, by using a virtual machine and a freshly installed OS in it.

It may be an issue caused by a proxy server/caching proxy that you have to pass through to access LL. If that's the case contact your ISP about the problem.

Why do you reset your router regularly? Is there a problem with it? Is it constantly attacked with port scans or DoS attempts? Or do you just want to get a new IP address? I don't think doing that would help you when you're having download issues on LL.

Clearing the DNS cache of Windows (or your browser) *might* help you when you cannot access the site itself due to an issue with your DNS server or an IP address change. But if you can access the site, but having download problems, doing that won't help you either.

"Regularly" is not best expression, but I didn't know better. My router is constantly under attack, but also some pages blocking my IP when my Internet IP was attacked, like Kick ass and similar. Flushing DNS restores/refresh my IP address and I can have access to the sites I was blocked. This also help me to be able to download again once I wasn't able. I don't know for others, but it helps me.

Some other people with similar problem confirmed this that it is working for them too in both cases, accessing the site and downloading.

You mean you are sometimes assigned a blacklisted IP address by your ISP and you want to change it by resetting the router? But flushing the DNS cache won't refresh your IP address. ipconfig /renew does that. If you assign a static IP address for your network adapter you won't have to use that command again. What's a "Kick ass" BTW? If websites block your IP when your router is attacked then it's probably already been hacked.

I, too, am having trouble downloading anything from LL. I get the following error "An internal error occurred. Please contact an administrator." I'm mainly  trying to download fill her up but I've tried several mods including sexlab framework to make sure it's not an isolated issue. Tried ipconfig /renew and /flush. Tried clearing cookies. Tried different browsers (chrome and firefox). Tried different computers. This leads me to believe it's either an issue with my ISP or LL. Any help would be appreciated.

Info:

Browser: Chrome or Firefox

ISP: Hughesnet

OS: Windows 10 or 7

I have not enough knowledge of English terminology in this area to correctly explain what is the problem with what and what I'm doing when some things happened. It looks like that I'm using wrong terminology for right things and more I try to explain, I sound more illogical. :)

If you did all as you said, there is great possibility that you have problem with your ISP.

And that is your problem.  Satellite tends to time out.

There are numerous threads here about how Hughesnet doesn't work worth a shit.

Jodah My ISP is also HUGHESNET, so surprise our ISP is shit.  That being said I know having satellite is not good, but I rarely timeout anywhere else.  I can DL the sexlab framework from the mirrors that are posted that send you to megaupload, the problem is always when the site redirects to its own internal download links.  Apparently my only recourse is to drive 2 hours to the nearest starbucks and DL while im drinking coffee over shitty WIFI which is still better than shitty satellite.   So I guess my initial questions still stands if anyone knows any voodoo magic that can help? I have chickens, if I need to sacrifice a few I am totally okay with that.

If the high latency of satellite connections is your problem with LL downloads then you might consider getting a VPS and download your files to it first using remote access (VNC, TeamViewer etc.) and then transfer the files you've downloaded to your PC.
