Taven Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Could someone convert this guy's mod to UNPB? This mod looks great, but I don't use the mod it requires, and on top of that, I can't convert it myself...so I'm asking ANYONE that's interested. Hopeful there is someone out there that would be. ><
Spyder Arachnid Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 If you read the description, they state that they used the UNP Minidresses and Spice Collection for most of the armors. So just go get those if you want those armors. There are some UNPB conversions for some of them, or you can use UUNP to make them UNPB via BodySlide.
myuhinny Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 I have used the clothing converter by Gerra6 to convert a lot of DEM things to UNPCM. The DEM (demonic - Lilith) body actually converts very well in it. You just can't use the UV map option when doing the conversions and after conversion the DEM body has to be replaced with a copy of the body you used as a template. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/27557-new-clothing-body-style-converter-beta-v089f-10-26-2014/

I did, but I'm not versed at using UUNP at all...I only know how to take UUNP Bodyslide stuff people have already converted or made, and build clothing/bodies from that. How exactly do I take something that isn't bodyslide(I think) and make it UNPB, and then possibly put BBP on it?
Spyder Arachnid Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Well the Minidresses have already been converted to Bodyslide, so you just need to build them for your body shape is all. As for the Spice stuff, I haven't seen a Bodyslide version for it. Though it is UNP, so it will still work for UNPB just fine. Your breasts will just be slightly smaller is all when wearing any of those outfits.

I know of Minidresses being converted to Bodyslide, in fact, I use a good bit of that mod. Thing is, [DEM] Vanilla Replacers has a mesh of the journeyman robes and Archmage robes that I like that the currently converted minidresses does not. How do I go about converting that to UNPB?
Spyder Arachnid Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 I'd say try Myuhinny's advice, cause I honestly don't know. I've never been good with converting stuff myself, so I wouldn't even know where to begin on giving you pointers. Hopefully they can help you more with it.

I'm trying to open what it tells me two, but I only get a DOS window that tells me to hit any key, then it closes. Could you help me with this? ><
myuhinny Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 @Taven Which package did you download? The Portable Package or the Light Download package. I downloaded the Portable Package when I set up mine I had already had many of the requirements already installed back when I was trying to get blender working. The clothing converter requires python and Pyffi to be installed. I have PyFFI 2.1.11 PyFFI 2.2.2 python 2.6.6 and (python 2.6 PyFFI-2.1.11) last one came together these are the ones installed on my computer.

I'm at a lost at what to do next. ><
myuhinny Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 @Taven Most of the info is in the first post of the thread on how to use the clothing converter. Extract everything from the rar into a folder then double click the Make Lattice.bat wait till the screen pops up then click file convert from close the thing that pops up then click file convert to again close the screen. The reason you do this is so that the to and from folders get made. Then grab the armor/outfit you want to convert and place it into target folder and place a copy of the UNP body that you are going to use as a template into the to folder make a copy of the armor you are going to convert and place it into the from folder then load up nifskope and right click each armor piece and go to block remove branch once all items are deleted out of the nif click save as. Download nifskope as you will need it because the DEM body has a different texture path and if not changed to your players texture path will cause the clothing converter to throw out a incorrect gender error. First load up your UNP body and click on the body in the left list look under the highlighted line for BSShaderTextureSet click the arrow to the right of it to get the drop down then the arrow left of textures these are the texture paths used for things next double click the first texture line and copy it then load up the DEM body being used as the template and repeat what you did for getting the UNP body texture and change the first line for the DEM body to the UNP one by pasting the texture path into it the body should render then repeat for the legs as the DEM body is a chopped up body and is in 2 pieces. http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/NifSkope/Documentation_And_Tutorials There are 2 files a _0 and a _1 file for most items in skyrim If you are converting the _0 armor then you need to use a _0 body for your template. The _0 and _1 files are different sized bodies so if you use the wrong one it will convert nasty. Double click the Make Lattice.bat vertex index search and UV search need to be turned off (not pushed down) as the UNP and DEM body have different UV maps and you can't use those options as the stuff will convert incorrectly. Vertex targets is at 3 and search distance is at 10.0. Click file then convert from click your from folder and select the armor piece with the deleted out armor that you placed in there and hit open then file convert to open the to folder and select your UNP template body and hit open. Before hitting anything else you need to click file save as name your lattice then save current settings name your ini file this will save everything for later. Now hit ok. Wait for it to finish and close now double click Convert Clothing.bat click file select lattice and select the one you named then file target mesh optinos select target folder then file select destination folder (destination folder will be where the converted armor is placed at) click load settings and select the ini that you named. Now make sure that gender selection is set to female. I only have recalculate normals selected node targets is 4 search distance 10.0 and 0.0 in the last one. Now hit ok and wait for it to convert the armor. Once the conversion is done grab a copy of it and a copy of the body you used as a template load the copy armor up into nifskope and right click a armor piece go to block copy branch then without closing nifskope click load and double click the UNP body copy and right click scene root in the left list and go to block paste branch and try to paste the piece onto your players body. If it works great save as and repeat till all parts are in the body nif. But if it gives you a ninode error you will have to get mesh rigger also by Gerra6 and use your template body as the input file and place the converted armor into the target folder and run mesh rigger and select your template body as your input file which will copy the ninodes from that body and add them to your converted armor which will now allow you to paste the armor pieces into your players body nif. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/24797-mesh-rigger-skyrim-fallout-oblivion-beta89f-10-26-2014/

myuhinny Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Load the copy of the armor nif that you placed into the from folder into nifskope by double clicking it or right clicking it and going to open with then selecting nifskope then right click each item piece and go to block - remove branch this will delete the piece from the nif keep doing that till all that is left is the body then click save as to overwrite the nif this will be your new from body. Before and after screenshots.

Before and after screenshots. before.jpgafter.jpg Agh, I don't want to sound ungrateful, I'm not btw I thank you for helping me so far...but, I think I've just lost my patience with trying to convert these two clothes. >< What I want to do is convert the journeyman and Archmage robes to UNPB and possibly put BBP on them, but..I can't seem to do it. I followed all of your instructions to the bill, and some advice from where the converter came from, but when I get to where I use the latice to convert the clothing, the dos windows shows alot of matrix errors, and then it ends prematurely, and I don't get the converted clothing in the output folder. I've run back to it many times to see if I've done anything wrong and I haven't, so..I'm gonna give it an indefinite break now. Plus side is though, I did manage to turn something from CBBE to UNPB, but I can't seem to put BBP on it...oh well.
myuhinny Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Go to your save folder and look for the convert_clothing.log double click it and go to the bottom and look and see what error it posts there. Rotation matrix errors generally will not be the reason it closed as I have converted many that have had those errors the rotation matrix error comes from the author using a older skeleton.

Well, unfortunately, at the time I gave up, I kinda did a purge of everything, and probably deleted the log too. I thank you for at least helping me this far. Though, if I could ask one last thing of you, eh, could you convert those two clothes for me?

Geez, I kinda know what modders go through when making conversions now. xD Anyways, I think I may be getting some things wrong based on what you said in the 3rd paragraph, and how you kinda worded it. It seems like you were in a hurry or something, because when I looked for BSShaderTextureSet in my UNPB body(In fact in the DEM body too)template, there were no arrows to the right, they were always to the left, and BSShaderTextureSet was underneath BSLightingShaderProperty after I clicked the arrow to the left of it. That's when I started going by assumptions of what you meant so I r-clicked BSShaderTextureSet and copied it, then pasted it onto the stripped versions of the clothing I wanted to convert. Could you repeat that paragraph a little bit more clear please? That may have been why I was unable to convert the clothing correctly. :3 And, a few pics as to how it's supposed to look when I copy the textures to the DEM files would help too.

How exactly do I take something that isn't bodyslide(I think) and make it UNPB, and then possibly put BBP on it? You literally press a button... ???

myuhinny Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 @Taven Mind thinks hands type not always correctly yeah I meant arrow to the left sorry. The only texture you need to change is the DEM body first texture line. Normal body texture path. This is the texture path textures\actors\character\female\FemaleBody_1.dds now the DEM/Lilith bodies texture paths are different If you notice that by clicking the upper body part only part of the body highlights that is because it's a 2 part body the area where the 2 body parts join will get destroyed during conversions but will only effect things like pants. The texture paths for both are textures\actors\demonica\lbdemonicaleg.dds and textures\actors\demonica\lbdemonicators.dds so you need to either change those to textures\actors\character\female\FemaleBody_1.dds or you need to add the DEM body textures to the female folder and change the texture path in the dem nif to textures\actors\character\female\lbdemonicaleg.dds and textures\actors\character\female\lbdemonicators.dds I have the DEM textures in my female folder already so changing them to the female path renders them correctly and they convert without any error.
