I keep a folder called "Skyrim Mod Archives" and I put all my compressed mods in there. I don't even let Nexus mods download/install directly and they also go in that folder (download manually at Nexus). Then I use the toGop/left icon in MO to install an archive. I also have copies of those mods in case they "disappear", which happens a lot actually.

 

Gopher has a YouTube video showing how to use TES5Edit. It's really super easy to be honest. I use it to clean all the Skyrim master files and occasionally mods that need it.

 

I don't use Wrye Bash at all with Skyrim because I haven't been merging mods and that's all I would need it for. I do use it for Oblivion, but not for Skyrim. So it's not that important in my opinion.

Alright sweet, all seemed to work out has far as downloads go. I'll probably clean them up and then test play tonight. Thanks again everyone for your input and help. Really saved a newbie a lot of anxiety.  :D

Alright, so I am encountering a new problem. Sexlab isn't working because my Papyrus file isn't ver 2.8, does anyone know where I can get this file or an updated SKSE file that I can't replace over my current one? On that note, would replacing the current SKSE that I use to run the game with a newer one fudge up my game any?

 

Edit: Additionally, apparently my finish generator isn't working entirely either, Though I can't make sense of the error code. Then there is this new problem where the beginning intro to the game is wigging out. The wagon is flying around insane like and it is preventing the game characters creation script to kick in.

I am using the 1.6 version of Sexlab. Though I think I fucked up the order* and it got overwritten.

Alright, so how do I 'correctly' confgure the HDT Physics Extension? I can't make a new game til it works. And SoS continues to screw up my current save.

Most things will work. If you're using MO you don't need to download things again either.

 

When it comes to overwrites of SL Framework, the left pane in MO is your friend. It mimics the install order you'd have when using something like Nexus Mod Manager or while doing manual installs. But it's easier. Way easier. If SL is overwritten, let's say by SoS, then simply drag and drop SL below SoS or drag and drop SoS above SL. This makes them overwrite (actually over READ) in an order than prevents SL from being overwritten by SoS.

Alright question. Should I be running FNIS after every mode activation or after they are all installed an in order?
Additionally, should I merge sex lab files such as Amorous Adventures, Arousal Redux, Oral Only and Defeat an such into a single file or keep them separate? I currently have them separate.  Next, in regards to plugins. Do I need to rearrange my plugins or just the mods in the left mod list panel? Finally, I've been using FNIS but so far I'm not entirely sure it's recognizing all the mods I have installed.

Run the FNIS generator after adding mods that add animations. That's it.

 

No need to merge the SL mods, just leave them separate. Keep an eye on MO to see if anything overwrites anything else (look for the lightning bolt and + or - beside the mod in the left pane). Move things up or down the list to get the overwrites you want and avoid those you don't.

Yeah, thanks. So I should definitely make sure that the more important mods like HDT or XP32 are near the bottom so they can overwrite other mods, an that SoS should be above SL so that SL overwrites the latter.  Edit*

Though I think that means my SoS file overwrote my SL files.

Because I am getting a Papyrus and Storage Util warning.

Yeah SexLab after SOS. But I think that was a problem with an old version of SOS. I have "SOS - Schlongs of Skyrim - 3.00.004" and no conflicts

Yeah, thanks. I also found out that I should do that SoS install without the Papyrus install. Since that was apparently causing my up-to-date papyrus to be overwritten.  Though now my hud has disappeared for some reason. Makes shooting a bow a bit of a bitch.

Good News: Fixed my HUD through some tinkering. 
Bad News: Breasts are clipping through character models now.

My current mod list, anyone see anything that could be causing my current issue of missing/clipping genitals. I am pretty sure it's another conflict between SoS an SL. But I'd like a second opinion before reinstalling.

Clipping in what way? Being more specific would help here. There is bound to be clipping if the HDT collision parameters don't match your body/body size very well, for example.

The groin and breasts, they either jut out or sink into the body or something.

If they're collapsing into the body then it could be a skeleton issue. The old XPMS skeleton would do that with HDT. The XPMSE(extended) version is necessary for HDT. Also, if you choose the BBP rigged skeleton while installing it you could have issues. I haven't installed it in some time, but it's the regular rigged option if you're using HDT.

 

Never saw a groin issue before, unless you mean the SoS schlong just clips into the female groin during sex animations. That's normal if you aren't using a functional HDT vag, though.

I don't think I am using BBP. I know I am using up-to-date XP32 and HDT. The female groin/ass area disappears sometimes during sex, other times it stretches or something. The males schlong does sometimes extend as well. The breasts mainly clip inside the body or against the clothes when walking, then getting seriously deformed during sex animations.

I'll play my game as it is right now, if the clip is still in effect I'll reinstall the skeleton and HDT and see if that changes anything. If not I'll try and get a papyrus script and screen shot.

So, anyone have any mod suggestions for me? I haven't had any problems recently so I'd like to expand out a bit not. Considering adding the BBLS expansion for a player house. But if anyone have any other suggestions I'm all ears.  :D

How do I correctly configure my HDT? I'd like to start a new game but the wagon keeps wigging out like crazy.  :<
