Evanness Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Hi all, I was trying to get grab outfits http://home.gamer.com.tw/creationDetail.php?sn=2881238 http://eiheispot1.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-317.html but for some reasons I could not get their items IDs, trying searching with typical key words such as "dress" and "outfit" but nothing shows up. If you have the time, could you please have a look at these files and give me their IDs? Thank you very much.
RitualClarity Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Download TESedit Install it, Open it find the mod in question, click on expand There you will find an entry with armors and such check for the item there. Not 100 percent that you will be successful but pretty sure you will get that info and others doing the above. It is what I would do to find the IDs etc. While at it you can see the armor ranking and other info and even make a few game changes if you desire int he future. Including even taking that ID and adding it to your favorite character, your character etc . Just a bit more practice and confidence. Edit: Changed the program
Evanness Posted September 20, 2015 Author Posted September 20, 2015 Download SKSE Install it, Open it find the mod in question, click on expand There you will find an entry with armors and such check for the item there. Sorry to be a pain, but by SKSE I assume you mean Skyrim Script Extender? Wouldn't it launch my game when I open it after installing?

myuhinny Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Download CK (creation kit) load one of the .esp's into it and look in the armor tab for armor that is being added by the mod it will have a * in the one slot. Chances are the reason you can't find their id's is because they are in a different langue. So locate them and change their name to something in your langue. Then save to overwrite the .esp then load the game up and type in help dress or whatever you named each item. Do this for each piece or if you name each piece with a the same name for the first part of the name you can just type in help that name and it will bring them all up. Then you can add them to your inventory.

Sorry to be a pain, but by SKSE I assume you mean Skyrim Script Extender? Wouldn't it launch my game when I open it after installing? Sorry, it is late where I am so I was mistaken. I meant the TESedit5 for Skyrim. This will allow you to see records for the mods you are using. Open it up and wen you do you can select the mods that you want to see the records for or all the mods for that matter. There you can browse through the various records and get more info on item and their IDs. One of the first steps for you to start learning about the records, scripts, mods and such. Also a nice easy step into modding and making some simple changes like changing a hair for a character etc. Again.. sorry I mislead you as it is late and I guess my brain was / is giving out . You are correct with your statement and using TESedit will work as I stated. You can also use CK for this as well but some are more intimidated with this program. If am not mistaken it will however group the records together which might make it easier or harder for you. It is another alternative.
