Cipher616 Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Hi there! So, I played Skyrim a few years back, but back then my PC was awful. I've recently built a gaming monster, and wanted to try the game out again with some mods. Then I found out adult and sex oriented mods existed! Then I realized just how -many- of these mods there were...So I guess I'm here hoping to find some kind of introduction or tutorial, or if someone could just point out some good mods to start out with (for example, nude mods, sex mods, quests, etc.) I want a full, lewd, and lecherous experience, but I need to get started somewhere first! Any help would be hugely appreciated, as I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed currently. Thanks in advance! =)
swmas Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 You will have to think about what fetishes you have or what would you want in your game and start searching for that, 90% of the time you will find a mod that satisfies. Â However, you couldn't have come at a worse time as sexlab just had a major update and compatibility with older mods is uncertain.
Guest Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 The best advice is to follow 's guide:Â Anatriax's guide to an immersive Skyrim
myuhinny Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Maybe you will be able to find a older build before the newest sexlab was uploaded if not just wait till all of the bugs are beaten out of it. Also once you get everything make sure you never delete the old build till you know the new build is working correctly. I rarely update sexlab till I have to.
Cipher616 Posted September 6, 2015 Author Posted September 6, 2015 Thanks guys, I appreciate the responses! So, if I were to DL the newly released sexlab animations, would it absolutely not work with most mods, or would some just be buggy? How long do you think I should wait before trying the new one, and where might I find an older version? Also, can anyone suggest a good nude male mod?
gvman3670 Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Like others said, only update if you have to. And not only with SexLab, but with ANY mods. Stuff often breaks when you update so once you have a stable, functioning game keep it. Â Schlongs of Skyrim (here in the Lab) is probably your best bet for a male body replacer. But there is also SAM to use and it works OK. SAM does allow for more options in building a male character, though, but it comes at a heavier script price. Â Stay away from heavily scripted mods. Too many of them running all together will bork your game saves, sometimes in just tens of hours of gameplay. Â If you're TOTALLY new to modding your game then do yourself a HUGE favor and watch some tutorials (search for "Gopher" on YouTube)Â and read everything you can (especially instructions and requirements on the mods' download pages). Â How will you be installing these mods? Manually? Using a mod manager (like Nexus Mod Manager or Mod Organizer)? IÂ would suggest Mod Organizer for the power and functionality it provides, but it has a learning curve. One that a computer savvy individual can pick up on quickly, though. NMM is a much simpler manager to use, but it has a lot more limitations compared to MO.
Cipher616 Posted September 6, 2015 Author Posted September 6, 2015 I've been using MO. I've gone through a few forum tutorials and I've got stuff like SKSE, LOOT, Wyre Bash, bodyslide, etc. installed. I've been getting everything so far from the Mod Nexus though, which has that nifty feature to DL the mod straight to MO. How can I access content on this site through MO? Also, since you've suggested not updating whenever possible, is there somewhere I can download an older version of the framework?

All actively developed mods "will" require the new version really soon. Hopefully the mods that are no longer updated and are incompatible will either be adopted by other modders or rendered redundant by new mods. Â To install mods from here with MO it's easy, click on the CD icon and browse for the file you downloaded http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer#Installing.2C_Updating.2C_.26_Uninstalling_Mods
Cipher616 Posted September 6, 2015 Author Posted September 6, 2015 Ok, new problem - I'm trying to get the new Sexlab to work, but I cannot get FNIS to install for some reason. Whenever I load it in MO it gives me the message 'No game data on top level.' How can I fix this?Edit: What an incredibly long and somewhat stressful process this has been! So I can't seem to get Sexlab to work, probably due to the fact that I can't correctly install FNIS. Just to test things out, I installed the Radiant prostitution mod and all the various mods required for it. Whenever I try to perform a sex action though, I get a message saying something like "You have blacklisted all Oral scenes. This won't work." Or something to that effect. Anyone have any solutions in mind? I just want to get things working and start playing!
Guest Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 To make FNIS work with MO you should follow these steps. Download it, unzip it, and copy the files and folders DIRECTLY in the Skyrim/Data folder. Open MO, click on the icon with the two wells (Configure executable...) In the window that appears add as title FNIS Then browse with the "Binary" button the file "Skyrim\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe" Click on ADD (really important!) Now, you should have FNIS in the drop-down to run the programs. It will run for all the mods active in MO.
Cipher616 Posted September 6, 2015 Author Posted September 6, 2015 Alright, I've followed the above steps and have gotten FNIS loaded in MO, I've run the generator tool... and I'm still getting a message whenever I try to execture a sex action that says something along the lines of "You've blacklisted x action." I haven't blacklisted anything, and I can't find a solution to this anywhere. I've never run in to so many issue trying to get a program/mod to work before...
gvman3670 Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Go into the SexLab MCM menu and make adjustments there. Maybe the adjustments are in the RP menu for that matter. Both have options to include/exclude certain stuff.
Cipher616 Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 Alright, update. After two days of messing with mods and tools I've got a working game with tons of awesome content, Thanks a ton everyone who answered my newb questions here, I couldn't have done anything without help. I really appreciate it! Now, if anyone can recommend a sexy armor mod for use with CBBE I'll be perfect. I've got Remodeled Armor for CBBE Bodyslide HDT but I'm not sure how to access the armor reskins it deals with.
