Beornwahl Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 You should be able to get a working (and free) version of RPG 2000 and a mostly translated version of VH. I myself downloaded and install these two thing successfully only two days ago. Give me a minute and I'll see what I can find...

Use both of the links: RPGツクール2000 RTP Latest Main and Katteban Pre-patched Versions by Netty. This is mostly translated, however, as Chaos63 says, you will need a translator program for the whole game to be in English. Just download and install after the instructions in the wiki link "Violated Heroine Wiki (Referata)" If you have further questions, most likely due to my only basic description, don't hesitate to inquire - we can't have goodfolk Not playing such a charming game!

I'm not entirely sure I will recommend it, but the program I use is: Visual Novel Reader https://code.google.com/p/annot-player/ It's easy to install at least, but I'm almost sure that there are better program out there, so ask around.

Just get chiitrans2, go to the options and select at least 3 translators(I use honyaku, babylon and microsoft), then run the game. You probably won't even need it after all, VH is mostly translated by now.

When I want to install it, it stopped at 44% telling me the syntax of the name, the folder or the volume is incorrect. When I use Applocale to install it, it tell me: "AppLocale was unable to launch the specified application. Please make sure the application specified is valid." So there I'm stuck. If someone have an idea, please help! [edit] Nevermind, Bad version of Applocale used, works like a charms now, sorry!
Beornwahl Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 @legrandxav A safer way would be to change your pc's system locale to Japanese - which is step 1 in the installation guide on: http://violatedheroine.referata.com/wiki/Violated_Heroine So change the locale, then download RTP 2000 and install it.

Thanks for the advice but it seem to work very well now. In case of problem, I keep that in my head.
