cycl0ps Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Thinking of switching to CBBE/Bodyslide from UNP Jiggle. I love my current body for a few reasons: 1. Small (realistic, but small for Skyrim fans) boobs 2. Pregnancy through belly node 3. The ability to racemenu body changes as she gets preggo, etc... However, I tire of seeing all the awesome armors for CBBE that I can't use. So, I have a few questions that I haven't been able to find the answers to: 1. I hear that CBBE now has a belly node, but does it look lame like the weight-sliding one did? I want a round baby-belly, not an overall pudginess. 2. In bodyslide, if the body has a belly node, do the armors also mirror that, or will I have to use armors that incorporate the belly bone? If so, then I guess this is a dealbreaker, as there are so few of these. Right now I am using the UNP Tera set with belly. 3. Can I shape a body that DOSEN'T have bazinga boobies? If so, will the armors mirror the change? 4. If I switch, do I use racemenu or bodyslide to make changes to the body? What is the difference? 5. Do changes in bodyslide affect all females of that race? 6. If the body is HDT or TBBP, will bodyslide convert the armors automatically to TBBP or HDT? 7. Should I just stick with UNP and enjoy what I got, even with the limited armor selection? Thanks.
SirNibbles Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 1. Yes the belly node looks pretty decent now in my opinion. 2. The HDT enabled armors that you'll have to create in bodyslide will scale with your character's belly (even if you're pregnant from any sexlab mod here, or knocked up with another mod). 3. Of course, just create any kind of body u want with bodyslide. 4. U can use both. Bodyslide however creates the global "_0" body and the "_1" body all characters will use though, while the racemenu edits will only apply to your own character. 5. Yes they do, unless you're using a custom race and got a different file path for the body you're using. 6. No it won't convert them, but almost nobody uses TBBP anymore for CBBE nowadays since HDT is a lot better. 7. Your choice, the choice of the body u want to use is completely up to your own preferences.

I don't know about manually adding belly nodes to armors but all "bodyslide ready" armors are compatible with belly nodes.

There's still older BodySlide conversions existing that don't use those. For adding the HDT weights to an armor that doesn't have it, you will have to use Outfit Studio. There's tutorials for that linked in the description of the Nexus mod page of BodySlide.
sfeile Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 I am no expert, so take this as you will, but the new version of bodyslide does offer unp shaped settings (unified unp) with hdt, and includes unp body, unp skinny body, unp better5, and unp blessed body. Once you build the body of choice and batch build your bodyslide outfits, they should all convert to fit what you made.

cycl0ps Posted August 23, 2015 Author Posted August 23, 2015 Questions: The "Pregnancy Belly" node under cbbe options looks much better that the "belly" node in race menu. Doe preg mods like beeing female and chaurus use the cbbe "Pregnancy Belly" node or the regular belly node? If they don't use the "Pregnancy Belly" node, then what is the point of the node?
