Funny thing is, I'm a staunch cosmopolitan anti-racist, and I typed nigga because that's how I greet my black friends, whereas they're indifferent to it. I though the "er" one is racist. I sent an unban request based on this point, and no replication has been received so far; it's been a week now.

Anbeegod Posted October 14, 2015 Author Posted October 14, 2015 So I just figured out - you must NOT have started the college questline before installing this mod, or else a lot of thing will not work, and Onmund's personal quests will be unable to start. It's recommended (half-necessary - once the other characters are completed) to use a save that is before going to Riverwood, an optimal save would be a new save.

Teruke Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 so from what i read in the first post, right now only onmund will have a romance story? you also mention familiar faces followers, is that content that is follow? and if that's so, how will it approach it, will there be a specific personality assigned to that follower and the player can choose how to interact? cause from what i know familiar faces enables you to have your own characters as followers, therefore the possibility of having a Dragonborn PC and a Dragonborn follower is there.

Taven Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Hmm...I've a few questions I meant to ask..One, would it be compatible with this mod, as it keeps the quests from running together so fast, and actually allows you to dictate when a few quests start?(I love that mod to pieces and I'd rather not get rid of it..)) Two, if you've already started the mage guild questline and/or married him already, would it screw with Onmund or any other npcs you plan to tweak with this mod? And three, who do you plan to change next after Onmund?

It definitely will, both technically and story-wise; the Sexlab add-ons that allows you to have sex with followers will have lore conflicts as well. 3. Not deeply planned yet.

I must ask someone to take great risk by helping me upload the file once it is complete... with the danger of being recognized by the Nexus moderators as another of my account, and being banned. I know I'm asking a great deal of this, but there is no other way to release the mod on Nexus. I sincerely hope that there are people who truly wish to make it happen, by sharing this mod with the other people, and are willing to take the risk. I will not forget those who help me in making this great mod.

Due to imagining scenarios whilst having a follower from familiar faces is why you decided to begin this mod. So then why make content for vanilla followers, when you could make it for that follower that sparked the idea in the first place? "Basically, I have few romance choices when I'm roleplaying as a straight female, but to romance my badass Familiar Face character - in my brain only;" exactly, romance the badass Familiar Faces character. So then how come Onmund is the first thing that gets released? it's what i'm confused about, i'm trying to understand the process of how you decided that. and what i asked above is if at some point in the future will there be content for a custom follower? And i don't mean Vilja or Sofia or whoever. It's more in the lines of custom follower that has the appearance the player decided, so yes a badass familiar faces follower.

There are too many custom followers (and mostly female) yet few tried to make the existing characters better. Aside from introducing male romance, the another important point of this mod is to make vanilla characters more interesting. You think Onmund isn't badass? You'll see...... Though, in fact, the characters doesn't need to be badass at all, but they will have their specialty and talents that make them unique. Despite being focused on vanilla characters, new characters will be added as well, and the number of them wouldn't be small; but they will only be supporting characters, instead of the most important ones.

They should have the right to go to the site they like and download mods there. But honestly, I think the community of LL has greater hospitality. I asked questions and posted requests on the Nexus forum, and few would actually answer me. Folks here in LL are more willing to help.

You see they have visual appearance that player decides and basically they're a clean slate. As in you can make any content for them, whatever you decide can be attached to these guys.

I don't know if it's possible to add stories and quests to Familiar Faces followers, but meanwhile I'll focus on making Onmund's story. I suggest you post a request on the mod request board, perhaps you'll find modders who know how to do it. And you can, in fact, customize the NPCs' looks through a very simple method with RaceMenu.

I will not forget those who help me in making this great mod. You could use Hotspot shield to hide/change your IP and get a new one. Then just create a new email and nexus account. I used to use it back when the government banned youtube and porn from civilians
Teruke Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 yeah, i think i misread the first post, basically all you were looking for was some good male romance, you tried those mods but weren't happy with how they went about it, so you ended up settling for imagining dialogue between your char and your familiar faces follower, but even that got old quick. All of that made you start out this mod.
Anbeegod Posted October 17, 2015 Author Posted October 17, 2015 I've discovered some potential conflict between USKP and this mod, so I'll make USKP a requirement and make the fixes before it's too late. There's no point not using USKP, as it fixed the bugs that were not fixed and improves overall game performance, so I believe adding this requirement wouldn't do harm. I've made Onmund fully integrated into the Main Quests (Alduin), he would even be involved in the council of truce, by mocking and supporting certain people - but he will not affect the outcome, as this would cause a bunch of bugs and severe incompatibility. It is recommended that the users of this mod finish the College quests before beginning the adventure, for extra dialogues and scenes that are dependent on the situation after the events in Winterhold. Onmund's personal quests will bring about the fate of the Eye of Magnus, which your actions and belief will have influence. One point to note, is that the new story introduced in this mod will be VERY LIKELY having lore conflicts with other mods. I've expanded the world state and history of Tamriel in this mod, and I believe any mod that suggests the motivation and intention of different factions, will not work well with my mod story-wise. However, I deem it necessary, because only that will provide the freedom and frame which I need to compose new stories.

Anbeegod Posted October 23, 2015 Author Posted October 23, 2015 The writing of the lines about the Companions is easier and harder than my expectation. Hard because the vanilla Companions story is simple (honest word: lame), without a good framework, I cannot create a proper extension. Easy because the amount of the lines I'll have to write is limited to a small number, due to the lack of resources. There's only around 10 lines about the Companions, which is very few compared to the College's dozens of lines, and the hundreds of the Main Quests. It's true that I expanded the lore of TES universe in the mod, but I wouldn't touch the lore about the Companions for now, because the Companions have little relation with the character at hand (Onmund); what I expand and add, would be relevant to the characters' main stories. Perhaps I'll expand and even rewrite the Companions story, but that will not be soon. The Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild already have interesting story arcs, so they do not require much expansion; as for the College of Winterhold, Onmund's personal quest itself is an expansion to the College arc.
