hentaifreak Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 View File Patch to use Sexlab Hormones Bimbo race with Requiem. Submitter hentaifreak Submitted 08/15/2015 Category Other Requires Special Edition Compatible 1
DeepBlueFrog Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Good to see an update for Hormones out there... What does this patch do and is this something I could include in Hormones itself in a future update?
reibushido Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 From what I remember of using Requiem, their SkyProc patcher, the Reqtifacator, complains that you are using a non-vanilla race, and it doesn't know how to adjust the stats of this race in-line with the settings it has for the vanilla races. So magicka, health, stamina, carry weight, and I think all of the starting skill amounts are adjusted with the patcher, and this patch should tell it how to do so. It wont stop you from playing with that race without it though, but since your mod does 'force' a racial change for a variable amount of time, then for someone using Requiem, the changes in their skills during and after bimbo-fication might be game/immersion breaking. Not sure if it would be possible to add this to Hormones internally though.
cold burn Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Good to see an update for Hormones out there... What does this patch do and is this something I could include in Hormones itself in a future update? Uh... kinda? what this does(I'm assuming) is make the race "bimbo" in line with requiem' stats. For instance health regen is supposedly to be like... 20 percent of normal in requiem and carry weight is low as well. But while you could set the race up to match this- without the right key phrases procer might not even realize it- and then it would completely unbalanced for every other skyrim setup. Out of curiosity did you base the Bimbo of another race like nord or give it its own powers and skills?
DeepBlueFrog Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Thanks for the details. I based the Bimbo race on the Nord race but I gave it its own set of powers.
hentaifreak Posted August 16, 2015 Author Posted August 16, 2015 As people have confirmed this simply brings the Hormones Bimbo race in line with Requiem. I added in the abilities that were missing and then fudged the other numbers to fit within Requiems requirements... I found an interesting topic on the subject which helped me put together the working changes, but I can't find the link. I would agree that its not something which can be rolled into the Hormones mod since it requires abilities and keywords from Requiem.
DeepBlueFrog Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Thanks for the details. I was just curious about it. I usually prefer to incorporate fixes and patches in the main mod if possible but I understand it is not possible in this case. Let me know if there is anything I could be from Hormones side to improve this kind of patch.
hentaifreak Posted August 17, 2015 Author Posted August 17, 2015 My apologies it would appear that @Soaryne provides this patch in his great set of patches here http://www.loverslab.com/topic/42629-requiem-sexlab-devious-patches/ I even managed to link to my patch from his patches, it must of been one of those days. Anyway apologies for the confusion, I'm going to link to @Soaryne's mod from the first post to help steer people in the right direction.
Soaryne Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 It's okay hentaifreak. If you like I don't mind someone making there own version of a patch for that. I you want I would be more then willing tell you the common theme I found in requiem. I so nice to see someone else taking an increase in requiem patch for love lab mods. I you up for it I would be more then willing to work with you and be willing to pass the touch on keep that Requiem - Homones patches updated.
