Hey, I saw your post on @SaafRats my Saafie's deviant art page.  Sorry for the late response as I have not been active in this forum.   The easiest and surest way to make sure vertex ordering and number are kept is to start by modifying one of the reference models.  Make sure you do not add or delete any vertices and when exporting you also make sure to keep vertex ordering - in Blender there is an option to allow this.

Thanks for the reply!I just can't find the option you mentioned……is it the option which appears when I export a tmcmesh in the form of .obj ? I tried this option but it didn't work.

P.S. Saafrats said I can export  both of the modified fererence and the source one, and use those both as new user defined references ("from" and "to"), but I don't know how to add a "from" file, since a "to" file can be placed in the "user defined" folder. Both of the two kinds can be placed in user defined, I see.

Oh, I think I see what is happening now.  If you are going through tmcmesh (Mr. Dotouku's tool set), then the vertex ordering and number might already be altered upon export.  I will have to use my obj converter tool to export tmc as obj, make your edits and reimport the OBJ while checking "keep vertex order" or something like that in Blender.

If I finish my edits and get an OBJ, how can I export it directly into the tmc file without Dotouku's tmcmesh exporting plugin? Should I use your obj-tmc converter? And which boxes should I check? I used to do that but nothing changed to the tmc file.

To add hair I cheated and used Breast Copy Machine. I just copied Puff LOD TMC file over a Bush LOD TMC.  There are better ways to do it, we are in Timmy Cs thread, who probably knows the best tools to use.  SaafRats gave us the H-LOD body, and NiteGuardian  knows plenty about adding hair.

Apologies if this should be in PUFF LOD thread Timmy.
