Missing ground texture in Whiterun

So when I tried out Skyrim today, I used Alternate Start to begin in Breezehome.  I go outside, and everything is... purple-white.  The classic indicator of a missing texture, on the ground itself.

The kicker?  I don't use ground texture mods.  I can't think of anything I've installed that'd make this kind of fuck-up.  More confusing is that as far as I can tell, it's only happening within Whiterun itself--the surrounding countryside is fine, as are a few other main cities (I haven't observed them all, but Dawnstar, Winterhold, and Riften are fine).

Any clue as to what I did and how I can fix it?

Have you tried running TES5EDIT and seeing if there are any errors being listed like background errors. Also you can check the skyrim under cells and click each + to open the drop down and see if any mod is altering that area.

Background loader reports no errors.  Since this is the Whiterun city proper, I'd have to check the Worldspace, rather than Cells, I think, but what mods do alter it don't affect textures.  'bout the only mods I have that WOULD would be the High-Resolution Packs, and I have the unofficial patch for those.  'bout the only thing I can think of otherwise is maybe the Ruffled Feather mods pack, but looking at the comments there shows that no one else is having the same problem I am.  And I've used the Ruffled Feather before without any trouble within Whiterun.  Given that this is clearly a missing ground texture, I'm not even certain it'll show up in TES5edit anyway.

 The only files I recognized in your load order that change the vanilla WRTerrain files are the unofficial patches.  It might be another mod though.  Hey man, I tried.

I'm thinking the Ruffled Feather pack is the culprit; I might've forgotten to select a crucial option for one of the mods it adds upon installation.  I just reinstalled it, and it asked to overwrite the files you included--when I first installed your provided fix, it overwrote nothing.  Going to test it now to see if it's working properly.

 

EDIT: Yeah, Ruffled Feather was the problem.  After reinstalling it and making sure I had every option that's supposed to be checked activated, I loaded up the game and Whiterun's back to having grass, rather than blacklit snow.
