[Outdated] Lovers PK Merged Experimental 4.1

Recommended Posts

All you really have to do is delete the esp's and only the ones that are already included or incompatible. If you are not using a mod manager like OBMM or OBMM extended I suggest you start. If you are using that than just uninstall the mods that are already included or incompatible.

is LoversSuccubus supposed to be so strong? I started a new game to try out the 4.1 merge, and im like lvl 3 now, yet i have stupidly high + stats from the mod, and these blinking 600second left buffs that never go away. When i look at my stat sheet its LoversSuccubus buffs, stuff like +200 str, +200 wis, and so on... lvl 3 with 1000hp and whatnot is silly ;). Maybe i have a mod doing something wrong, dunno.

momoney have you tried checking your load order and a clean save? I run over a 1000 mods all unhappily merged together. Load order is key. If you did do a clean save that would certainly cause it.

Also you need pluggy_hud and OBSE installed. I added the links to the front page

1000 Mods!? I am running 150 and it's starting to cause problems.....

Btw, can I use the Tamago Club Merged mod with separated lovers mod? Also, what does LoversLoveMucusHabanero do?

Same problem here,it seems...any way to remove those effects manually?

I would have to remove lovers succubus. I can do that if everyone wants me to.

Running a lot of mods requires perfect load order, wryebash and a really good bashpatch, and a super computer. I am not saying that it runs perfect but it runs. It has taken me years to get it to run decent.

Keep in mind, if you do not know this, that you cannot run over 254 mods. If you think you are you are not. The game engine does not recognize more than this. The game assigns a alphanumeric value from 01 to FF however it will not run over FE. Over that it randomly cancels esp's. This is why you must run OBMM and WRYE BASH to see what the heck is going on. I say all this because it baffles me how many modders do not use modding tools like these. So I will say it again (and again):

If you want to play modbilvion you need to install and understand:

OBMM (Oblivion Mod Manager )

OBMM Extended (HE claims it is stand alone but it is not so install this on top of the original

Wrye Bash

BOSS (Better Oblivion Sorting Software)

TES4Edit (This is an editor so that you can read esp's and esm's)

And run OBSE versions of everything

Well, I said I'd do it, and now I've done it.

LoversMergedNoMBP modules are here! This is for those of you who want to play Lovers Merged without having to use Modular Beautiful People.

The way I've done this is I've changed each of the NPC races into something that didn't require MBP and changed the hairs/eyes likewise. I've also devised a system that keeps it compatible with any future releases of Lovers merged.

INSTALL:

This archive contains 3 files.

Beautiful People 2ch-Ed.esm <== REQUIRED put this at the top of your load order. This is a "Blank" version of the BP2chEd esm that Lovers needs. This is to "trick" Lovers into thinking it's loading BP when it really isn't.

Next are two esp files. CHOOSE ONLY ONE!

LoversMergedVanilla.esp <== replaces all referenced BP2ched NPC races (example: replaces Ahnimis and tabaxis with Khajiits, replaces Chocolate Elves with Dark Elves, etc), eyes, and hairs with Vanilla equivilents. I tried to get them as close as I could to their BP counterparts, but vanilla doesn't exactly give you a lot to work with.

LoversMergedRBP.esp <== Does the same, but is intended for those that use bg2048's excellent, far more lore-friendly Races Balancing Project for their racial needs. This replaces referenced BP races with RBP ones (example: replaces BP tabaxis with RBP Ohmes Rahts, replaces tang mos with Sea Elves (not a very close match I know, but as close as I could manage), replaces Ahnimis with either Ohmes Rahts or Ohmes, replaces BP elves with vanilla elves or Hidden Elves (Alyeids), etc, as well as replacing BP referenced hairs with their RBP counterparts (or close equivlents in the case that RBP doesn't have that hair) and eyes.

DO NOT USE BOTH AT ONCE!

BASH and load list:

The ESM goes at the top of your load list, just after oblivion.esm. It serves no function other than to prevent Adultpayplus from crashing the game upon load due to missing master.

BOSS will autosort this file to a different location. This is fine. As I said, it's just to prevent Adultpayplus from crashing, and to prevent me from having to replace Adultpayplus.esp.

The RBP version must be loaded somewhere after bgBalancingEVCore.esp (it techically can be loaded before, but wyre bash will bitch at you about deliquient masters) and after Loversadultpayplus

the Vanilla version can be loaded anywhere after LoversAdultpayplus

This can be used with bashed patch. If you do, disable (uncheck) whichever version you chose to use, and use both the bashed patch's

"Import NPC Faces" feature AND the "Import Actors" function to merge this with the patch.

Known Issues:

None that I know of.

Important Notes:

THIS DOES *NOT* DISABLE MBP/x117 DEPENDANCY FOR LOVERSTOMANGO.ESP! It only works for LoversAdultpayplus npcs.

Personal Notes:

  •
  • I admit, I was a bit gratuitous with the Ohmes Raht (RBP version of Tabaxi race)/khajiit usage, especially considering the Integration the Stranded light plotline which says the former is techically banned in Cyrodill.) But given the circumstances I feel there wasn't a whole lot of choice in the matter, given that the BP dependant Adultpayplus uses tabaxis A LOT, and given the fact that more often than not I replaced the other half-beast races (Horkers etc) with them. I'm not sure if I can/should find a way around this, input on that would be wonderful.

  • Please do not ask me to do a Tamango version. I will not be doing one for several reasons.

    • 1st: That uses x117, and I have NO Idea how to emulate that/replace NPCs for that (the kids use Specialized Bodies and heads, which again I have no skills in creating). Maybe in the future out of curiosity I might figure something out, but untill that happens you'll have to ask someone else for that.

    • 2ndly: Tamango is one of the few lovers mods which I have NO interest in playing AT ALL. For me, Kids and Porn mods are not a good combination, ESPCIALLY condsidering how random and unpredictable the lovers system is already (It's sad and unrealistic enough to have two adults fucking out in the middle of the street in the IC market district where everyone can see them. Adding kids to that equations... is one of the few places I just won't go.) And while I'm slightly drawn to the idea for realism... eh... its just a major no-no for me. And it goes without saying, why would I ever want to create a mod that I myself have no interest in playing?

[*] Also do not ask me for a version that's compatible with COBL Races. Reason being is that COBL races is little more than an outdated version of RBP, so if your using Cobl races for whatever reason, just do yourself a favor and use the genuine RBP instead.

[*] In the RBP version, I've tried to keep the hidden elf and daedric population down. Reason being: For Hidden Elves, well, they're not supposed to be numerous. They're Aleyids. In fact, they're actually supposed to be exinct. As for daedra, well, again, they aren't supposed to be that numerous in tamriel, especially the "less obvious" ones (IE daedra seducer and Xivilai.) On the other hand... enjoy your new Lorically correct Daedra Seducer Succubus!

@rylasasin

This is a suggestion but it might not work. Open up your main esp with wryebash and change the MBP dependency to whatever is the next dependency. It is important that you end up with two of the exact same masters. Than open up the esp with TES4Edit and click on clean masters. It should remove your dependency for MBP without causing a bunch of errors. You will have to close it and then reopen it with TES4Edit to check.

your misreading my post actually, and I've tested this so it does work.

Basically what my mod does is replace all the NPCS that use BP races, Hairs, and Eyes with equivlent eyes and hairs, and replaces their race with RBP/Vanilla ones, and then it replaces the BP ESM With a blank one (since there's no real dependancy anymore.)

I did it this way to avoid having to make extra work for the user.

Your idea wouldn't really work that well anyway. What you'd wind up doing is replacing all the BP dependant NPCs with a whole lot of imperials (I assume that's the default race) with the same default hairstyle, and with the same default eyes.

If your BP esm is blank than removing it would have no effect like what you are describing. Every extra esm or esp slows down the game. This is why I suggest removing it if you do not use it. But you cannot go and just snip it or you'll get errors.

What your describing though is extra unneeded effort on part of the user. What your suggesting, if i'm not mistaken, is loading these replacers (either the vanilla version or the RBP version) then going into the LoversAdultPlayPlus file and editing those changes out.

What you fail to realize is that first off, this is a redundant effort. If the replacers already replace the file, why go into the main file and make these sensitive changes your proposing? At best, it's redundant. At worst its just plain silly.

Nevermind the fact that you have to keep doing this EVER SINGLE TIME THERES AN UPDATE TO LOVERS MERGED EXPERIMENTAL!, which means anyone using this no-MBP patch would need to do that AGAIN when Merged Exp. 5.0 or 4.2 and 6.0 and 6.1 and 7.0 comes out and so on and so fourth.

On the other hand, if your trying to suggest editing these changes directly into the Adultplayplus files... then this is even MORE wasteful. NOT ONLY do you have to make the exact same procedure again every time there's an update as I mentioned (having to remember what you replaced what npc's race with, what color eyes are equivalent to what, what hair is equivalent to what, etc) But the fact that I'd have to make two separate version for vanilla and RBP users like I did makes it even more ridiculously wasteful than it already it.

I designed it this way SPECIFICALLY so you WOULDN'T need to mess around with the Adultplayplus file in any way, so you wouldn't need to keep doing the same thing over and over every time there's an update.

I've tested this addon specifically myself and I've had NO errors whatsoever.

Concerning Lovers Succubus, its INI has a setting to turn off or lower amount of stacking of the super buff while still draining stats of victims...errr...I mean lovers! :D So I don't think its necessary to remove, however an overall guide to setting the game up would likely be helpful.

I wish Lovers Habanero had something similar, even with lovers mucus removed I'm still getting a collection of a bunch of love juices, sperms (both helpful and deadly).

Also a question. At the end of the TrueCrime complete thread a modder posted a patch that corrected some bounty and pay issues. I think it just modifies scripts, would placing this mod after lovers PK merged change the scripts (assuming they are named the same)?

Also' date=' Im getting this error at the start of sex.

xLoversPkrGetMotionParambySPosIndex not found SPos = 0

Not sure what that means, or if the answer would fix my problem.

I've been having this problem as of late too in 4.1 after I installed everything from that mod.

I even deleted all the lovers related inis and replaced them with the ones included.

Missing meshes is not the issue I copied that folder straight out of the box.
