Unfortunately due to the way that the Creation Engine works, animations cannot be played with corpses - they're basically just a container with some extra details for resurrection or reanimation,  Resurrection doesn't even work correctly because the actor is flagged dead when it becomes a corpse but there's no vanilla method for undoing that flag.  They don't actually have an animation manager attached.  There's some hacky workarounds, but they're really not great.

Basically to make the corpse participate in an animation via sexlab's workaround, you'd need to make a custom texture suit for the dismembered texture and then force the actor to wear it, since sexlab's workaround is just to resurrect the corpse, play the animation on the resurrected actor, and then kill the actor again.

with all the frameworks these days, it's kind of surprising nobody's made one to get around the limits with corpses.

everytime I try to install part 2, I get an error message telling me something went wrong with a kitchen knife texture

 

I can't even extract the files to change the texture at all

It's a split archive, you only need to extract part 1 and the program should extract all the contents of part 2 automatically. If your having issues there is another version you can download here.

Hi, I got the problem with purple body parts andd I dont know where to get the textures from. Ive downloaded all 3 files and looked through the whole topic but i still dont understand how exactly i can fix it since im new to modding
