The fact that they use the actual rotary sound in the track is amazing.

You neglected the fact they used the parts from engines that didn't make it around the track too....

Done already.

Though, nothing wrong with a second round.

Ah well, bad memory on my part. No use doing another so soon.  Thanks for refreshing my memory.  😁

I never really liked Primus when I heard them on the radio, as a teenager... (they played "My Name is Mud" pretty often), but I've really come around on them. Les Claypool might be the greatest bass player that's lived.

Well, this is a repost.....but this will always be may fave, especiallh with the video......EVERYONE feels anger and RAGE.  The people I fear are the ones who don't admit it.  This song and video, for me, the lyrics the relentless drive, the sarcasm as he drops the mike, the grit of the film quality, the glare of the lighting, I don't know, it literally looks, sounds feels, and even tastes like the embodiment of the darkest depth of my rage.  We all have anger/rage.  I just was able to find a song and video that embodies it - Don't even get me started on the perfection of the lyrics as I relate them to my life experiences.  This is my ultimate catharsis song/video.  What I won't admit is how often I need to listen to the "catharsis".?

I just found this analysis of the song.  Which technically accurate (fastest NIN song - well duH), the lyric interpretation is at best "just scratching the surface", which is ironic considering the "analysis"

“March of the Pigs”, its single also being known as Halo 7 stands as the fastest NIN song ever recorded (coming it at 269 BPM) and features an aggressive verse followed by a stripped-down piano chorus.

Lyrically, the song represents all of the “fake” people encountered in the protagonist’s life and his desire to “peel back” the mask they wear. The song itself is critical of society and the apparent superficiality of life.
