Zquad1 Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Hey everyone, I am trying to convert a pair of boots & when I put them on in game it doesn't fit or attach to the Body mesh like so---> does anyone have a clue what I might be doing wrong?? I have converted many boots before but for some reason it does not want to attach to the body & frankly I have no idea how to fix this, although I have tried re weighting it, & or importing a clean skeleton, many times over & the results are still the same? could the Mesh it's self possibly be corrupt ??
Vortec Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 I dunno, but i'd like to have those stockings for Racemenu, sorry can't help
Zquad1 Posted June 7, 2015 Author Posted June 7, 2015 Well to get those stockings you can download my version of the Ashara Princess of the Woods Mod on my download thread, just click on my signature image.
Khajiirah Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 In the Bodyslide studio, maybe you edited the mesh and such..but sometimes a mesh you load onto the Studio isnt on the correct place..then you have to klick on the mesh and then choose -> "Shape -> Move Shape.." NOT Move Shape Virtual!!! After you chosen move Shape, you can set the shape to the "Vanilla" Coordinates or so, then it should fits the body. I used Move Shape Virtual, and then i see it fits, i saved and ingame it looked the same lol...After i find out i missklicked, instead of "Move Shape" i always used "Move Shape Virtual"If this is the Problem i hope it helped, otherwise i have no idea what it is, and you know how to copy bone whights and such for sure, and if you use Bodyslide for sure, to convert it. I will download the mesh and take a look on it.. give me just some Minutes..
Zquad1 Posted June 7, 2015 Author Posted June 7, 2015 Shit I am sorry guys I guess I should of mentioned the 3D program I was using, I am using Blender 2.49, & yes I did alter the mesh the mesh Originally was in 2 pieces & I joined the meshes into one, But Like I said I have done this many times over with no problems, but for some reason this time it just won't work, so I am not sure if there is a setting somewhere I missed, but I haven't played with the settings since I installed Blender, but I am converting the same boots a second time but this time I am keeping the double mesh & try & see if the result is a better one.
Zquad1 Posted June 7, 2015 Author Posted June 7, 2015 @ Khajiirah Here is the Boots in question in case you would like to check them out... Boots Test.7z
Khajiirah Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 Hm weird, but when it's gone or you figured out what it was then its okay and were all happy if you're happy too! And btw, you've done great work so far! Greetings, Khajii.
Zquad1 Posted June 7, 2015 Author Posted June 7, 2015 Well thank ya!! well I am just finishing up the last weight of the boots so I'll find out if it worked or not here in about 20mins.
Zquad1 Posted June 7, 2015 Author Posted June 7, 2015 OK that did it, I still have no Idea why it wouldn't work after I joined the 2 meshes together but this is what it looks like now with the 2 meshes intact...
myuhinny Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 Could of been a mess up somewhere. I have had it happen before with the clothing converter try to convert something and the converter would crash redid what I did to the first nif in a new nif and tried again and no problem or make a lattice and converter crashes redo lattice and 2nd time it works. So it could of been that something happened that shouldn't of or something was accidentally hit and not noticed.
