ZippyTheMagicDragon Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 So I've been trying to get Skyrim set up again with some mods and ran into some issues with the SexLab animations. I read through the troubleshooting guide and immediately found that I must have fucked something major up. After editing my Skyrim.ini to enable papyrus logs, I replicated the issue in Skyrim and went to check the log. Except the log wasn't there. I searched my entire drive and Papyrus.0.log doesn't exist, nor the folder it should be in. So what did I fuck up? Where should I be looking to try and fix this?
Shadowhawk827 Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 I had this happen a while back also. New setup, forgot to enable the logs again, after I did there was no log.... In my case, it started logging again next time around. Either it needed an extra start to get it going or I didn't run the game long enough for the logs to start dumping info. Maybe if you're lucky it'll be that easy for you also.
pinky6225 Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Check whats showing in Skyrim_default.ini in Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim It should be the same as skyrim.ini in Documents\my games\skyrim Noticed sometimes its not and stuff doesn't work though never understood why we have both Also it will only generate the log on a CTD by default so if you have a non-CTD issue you can trigger a log by typing dps on the console
stevihj Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Thank you Pinky6225! I wasn't getting a log either. Now I am *hugs*!!!!
