Child Grow to Mega Size to use animation markers D: base game bug. So suggestions?

So I don't often pay attention to children in game, matter of fact any child actor that gets uppidy in my game just gets summarily Disabled via the consul.

So I was in Riverwood and the two kids there are using idle markers.

They became adult size for the use was really unsettling.

Did some searches came up with that this is in fact a base game bug.

I have the unofficial patches installed and I have no child mods.

I've had a look around saw a Race Scale mod that claims it removed a keyword from vanilla idle markers.

Thing is that seems rather invasive and then some also I have a lot of custom towns so added stuff likely is not covered.

Suggestions?

Don't think it's a bug. It's a feature. Because reasons. Mainly because otherwise they would clip in the scenery.

Found this. You could try it. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41304/?

*edit* nevermind, the mod I linked is probably the same that you mentionned. But yes. It's based on the RaceToScale keyword. Some fournitures can be used directly by childs because their height is compatible. Other fournitures has to resize the NPC.

Ya that's the one I was looking at but it seems like it could be problematic.

Maybe I'll just delete the kids....They are poetato heads anyway.

The one mod that was linked above is advised by a creator of a child replacment mod here on LL

VANILLA NPC REPLACEMENT:
here all the plugins that will convert NPC in the vanilla game.
Suggested mod: Size Does Matter by Mahlzeit88 to prevent the npc rescaling problem when they use some objects.

This should work at least you can give it a try. AS for custom stuff I doubt it will be harming those mods as it seemed to me at least according to the description that it is editing the vanilla files for races and children.
