So, basically we have the base game for €34,99 and then 4 DLC packs weighing in at a combined €240,96 together.... is it me or is this pricing policy a wee little bit ridicilous? o_O? (Personal opinion only, of course.)

It honestly is. How I acquired all of mine is disclosed. Let's just say I believe in liberty lol

I think I actually may have spent about $200 buying DOA 5, DOA 5 Plus, DOA 5 Ultimate and so many DLCs all for Playstation 3 and PS Vita.

Not to mention, pre-cross compatibility with DOA 5 Plus on the Vita and PS3. But you still have to rebuy.

The developers sure know how to milk their customers. They know it will be payed for either way. And they could've had more customers, if they would've just fixed the damn game.

Soon they'll learn.

As much as I really want to get my hands on the DLCs, the prices are just plain ridiculous. I'll probably just wait for a steam sale or something... With that said, how about we give the base game costumes more love? :D

Seriously, money is no issue here, but the idea of paying such a sum for a half baked game and for costumes only is a no no and I'm just taking a stand of my own, if people gave in to their milking plans, we won't see the end of it :(

I could get a half decent hooker for less than that. Shit!

That's seriously made me laugh out loud, pretty hard.

Definitely, but I'll be doing one and one of DLCs and none DLC's.

How far have you gotten on the no panty mods? xD  No bra and panties would be o.O  I might get nosebleeds.

I have to start them today, yesterday was long. But I finish everything the same day I make it.

I just slack a little because I know it takes Vergil awhile to create his mods and no one seems to care.

But I always promise to keep them quick and same day, I know that's what makes me different from other modders.

Sorry about the Leifang dress to everyone waiting on that, that one is some work.

But anyways, I am starting "Alternative"  face/hair textures today.

Wikipedia:

The concept of an alternative culture[edit] See also: List of subcultures and History of subcultures in the 20th century

The concept of alternative culture is rooted in the development of new views of adolescence during the 1950s in Western Europe and North America. This development, in conjunction with the emergence of the teddy boy and the release of the US films The Wild One(1953) and Rebel Without a Cause (1955), saw adolescents in North America and Western Europe collectively express a form of rebellion against the values of their parents and authority in general. The reasons for this rejection of traditional social codes and attitudes were usually personal, but were at the same time easier to define when asserted as part of a group.

The current understanding of alternative culture came about in the early 1990s, when strands of youth culturecounter culture, and various subcultures came together prompted by corporate influences. The high-profile exceptions to this have been hip hop cultureand the Riot Grrrl movement. The recreational use of time by both women and people of color has been reported upon, but usually with disdain[citation needed].

Basically, emo, scene, punk, goth versions of character. They all fall in a single category.

Thanks for the awesome ninja edit! I made Leifang and Nyotengu using your breast textures, so I hope you don't me posting some screens of them here:

It's cool, I'm about to have the same ones up in a minute.

'Scene' Hitomi has been created, uploading now.

I am so sorry to ask it here but I do not know where else as I see you are dedicated to modding dead or alive, so here goes.

Is mesh editing possible, in the distant future or similar or all we get is texture edits?

Me and my group discuss it all the time. And pretty much, no.

I don't think it will ever be possible either because Dead or Alive 5 is made on an obsolete from-scratch engine.

Maybe in the far distant future when some scripter has the audacity to make a mod tool.

That is...Not very encouraging.

Albeit not very surprising either. I mean, other than the occasional texture mods, nobody really seems to be doing anything on the "More than just textures" part.

Console mods are not publicly released and PC modding is probably gonna be stuck at textures only. THAT right there, is what I call fun, fair and brilliant.

Lol i've tried my hardest to get those damn basic files open, but they don't even govern an extension.

------------------

Doing all ninja outfits that I can.

Possibly gonna work in transparency for the cloth ones.

braless hitomi-honoka-mila and wet swimsuit hitomi not work in my game. but another mods works.

maybe the file name has change in new dlc? i'm using umod r51 and r53.

hey delite, can you please make hitomi topless with that outfit you used for her "scene" version? it shouldn't be too difficult i guess, most of girls have one overalls costume like Ayane's non DLC overall outfit, all of them could be made topless...
Btw, your mods are great ;D

Even you only add a little nips there, but modders had to repaint the whole mesh skin. So, this kind of model with real nips are need dedicated modders to do so. Don't expect it too much.

Those mods look awesome. But yeah, you need to be able to manipulate the meshes (and not just textures) to get the nips to look like that. I have confidence some talented modders will eventually do that for us though :)

xXDeliteXx, humble request to naming your files like this.

FemaleName - C## - Your mod called by Modder'sName

So we can easily track each mods in this site, and in our own PC folder.

The mods have to be named a certain way so they can work in umod, otherwise he has to make a special reference file in a text document for each and every mod in order for it to work.  I found that out trying to rename mine :-P

Correct.

As well as also the costume numbers being different for those who don't/do have all DLCs. It's quite pointless.

I do plan on turn at least my most variable mods into packages first (w/ special reference file).
