JMKAM Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I was smart when I first got it years ago and played the game through without any Mod's at all, got to Lv50 something blah blah fun stuff OP'd enchanting blah blah. Well once I started adding mod's, all I've ever done with Skyrim is load mod's, look at 'em for 5 minutes, if it's a weapon or spell I will spawn 100 guards and blow 'em away, then I Alt+F4 and I'm done with the game. It's ridiculous, I just cannot enjoy playing this game anymore. :/ I do enjoy the mindless slaughter, but it gets old. I enjoy the Sexlab stuff since porn is always nice and Skyrim has great graphics for it, but that's about the most constant use I have for Skyrim is now- Fap material -_-" Anyone else experiencing this... Skyrim Apathy?
Guest Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I hate Skyrim. *Continues making mods for it*
dechurch Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Honestly, I have like 1,200 hours in Skyrim, and all I do now is surf LL for new Skyrim porn. I rarely play the actual game.
Trollirious Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I hate Skyrim. *Continues making mods for it* lol that made my day But jokes aside...... It depends on the mods hell it don't even have to be sex mods that takes up time! like me for example (just to point out i really need to stop pointing out my flaws when i see other people works) 90% of my modding time is fashion, hair, posers, houses and making my world looking like a rainbow unicorn anime skyrim The 10% i do mods for in this topic is mainly milk mods or better emotion and animations for the bondage mods i have lol but since i rarely play a human or elf my sex mods are somewhat limit.....i wish Beast modding wasn't so hard Funny thing it only took me to download CBBE body when the chaos begin
Captain Cobra Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 It's not your fault OP. Mods will never be able to fix the shitty combat or the even shittier quests.
afa Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 For me Skyrim has been just porn... Everything else is sort of secondary. It satisfies a niche that is not possible in traditional game or porn
dobmc Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Anyone else experiencing this... Skyrim Apathy? I-I think you're more than a year late to say that. Well you can go (and not) buy ESO or do something productive with life instead...
germanicus Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I continued to play Skyrim since there are best sex mods created for it. No other similar RPG games has it. Those sexual contents keep me playing this game. Thanks to LL, Skyrim is the most playing game for me. But, I guess, you should be sex addict like me to find motivation to play Skyrim.
Manax Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I agree. I endlessly search for something new to try.I find myself in the back alleys of Japanese porn sites looking for that one mod that's rare and hard to find. It's like enhancing my Skyrim experience is the quest now. I will say I do still enjoy at times taking some of my girls and going into a dungeon and killing everything it in. I keep my eye on the quest section of Nexus or here at LL for new content, and if it's decent I'll actually reimmerse myself in the actual gameplay. But 90% of my time is spent trying to make my girl hotter, my house better and add more ladies to bang It out with.
XJ347 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Funny enough, I did my 2nd full playthrough about a month ago. Was really fun, used mods to alter the difficulty... IMO it's your fault if the game is too easy, since you can choose to NOT use blacksmithing, alchemy, and enchanting. Then use an overhual that makes combat deadlier! Where I lost interest is when I decided to finish the main quest. The closer the end, the more annoyed I got. When I get to the end and there is still no ending! I get JUST as upset about it as the first time I beat it. To be honest I will never again play a full playthough because of the lack of an ending. I need some closure to a game, Fallout NV has it... They COULD do it... /sigh I only play Skyrim to test mods now, and in the future I might make a new story, but it seems stories are out of style. SOOOOO much work for so little acknowledgment. My test run for a second story didn't seem to get much traction... So I am a little reluctant to try again. I still have never done the assassins quest nor fighters guild questline! So I will do those eventually just to see them.
Hitom Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 It's not your fault OP. Mods will never be able to fix the shitty combat or the even shittier quests. This is sad because it's true
Aurora95 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Ya... We got a new PC recently so I can finally run more than like 10 mods and I spend my time mod hunting now ><
demack Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I still enjoy it but then I make my own stories/quests and they're not always porn.
winny257 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 so, here's a critic, what's wrong with to you all? what gives you that virtual sex? you get only a hard-on (hard dick, thick eggs) and can your semen only wank get rid of. some sex in a game is always a good thing, but what's going on here in Skyrim is not normal, too much and the "most" too brutal!I also like sex mods, but please only with tenderness.
Arhon Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I think all it took was the body mods, CBBE and UNP , when they were released this chaos began
KumamonTheWorshiper Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Was actually bored to death with this game few days ago. Then i found 3 combat mods that make Skyrim felt even more Dark Souls-ish than before plus some Artorias' armor mod with a good textures. Fuck you modding community for not allowing me to get bored with this game. Again. Seriously, fuck you.
halieslade Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I continued to play Skyrim since there are best sex mods created for it. No other similar RPG games has it. Those sexual contents keep me playing this game. Thanks to LL, Skyrim is the most playing game for me. But, I guess, you should be sex addict like me to find motivation to play Skyrim. I don't know how true that is, but there's a lot of truth to it. I've belonged to Second Life for 10+ years, but the last 4 or 5 years have seen it degrade into a shopping game and the player population wither away to a shadow of its former glory. Before that, there were innovative 3D creators/designers, tons of perverted sex and big communities of like-minded people who enjoyed pixel bumping. Personally, I just got tired of the idiots I had to deal with. I'm much happier in a single player world where I control everything I don't see anything wrong with just staying with Skyrim for the mods. Mods -- whether hunting for new ones, trying them out, or building your own -- is fun in and of itself. That could outlive the game. I keep promising myself that I will get off my ass and dust off my Blender skills, or dust off my programmer/scripting skills so I can make my own Skyrim content. I haven't given up on that dream, yet, I'm just too busy seeing how big of a whore I can make my character! Btw, I was in ESO beta and I was so disappointed in it I declined the early start offer from Bethesda. Maybe I was expecting Skyrim, but it wasn't there.
Tivoko Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Playing Skyrim the same way we did back on 11-11-11 does get old, I'll give you that. Once the initial mystique wears off the game can feel old which is why I turned to screenshots to help me still enjoy the game. I know there are a few overhauls that can change the way the game plays but I've always been weary of adding any really big mods to my game (especially if I'm not doing a fresh install). Still there are mods like Perkus Maximus and Imperious Races that might spice up the game for you and breathe new life into it.

I downloaded it and keep meaning to start a new game just living in the wilds, KOS to every other human/non-human on the continent. Could be a challenge
Hentai-chan Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Until recently, I would have agreed with you. All I did was look for mods for Skyrim. I did not even play. I looked for mods I installed them ran LOOT, PaMa, ReProccer what have you and just let it sit there. Whenever I opened the game it was to watch my character fucked the shit out of her (it's a thing, now) But all it took was one irresistible urge to play Skyrim. When I started getting crashes like all the time, I got pissed and nuked my Skyrim and MO. And started from scratch. İnstalling all the mods, that I thought would improve my gameplay experience and would not result in horrible CTDs. And now I enjoy just playing a modded Skyrim once more. Skyrim modding has become synonymous with immersion. I suggest, if you want to get back into it, start with those. Try out different things. And don't forget sex mods. It's like eating strawberry pie without strawberries. EDIT: I would also suggest you put some self-imposed challenges to make your experience a little harder. Like my inventory restriction challenge. Reasoning behind challenge Playing Witcher 1, I noticed how easy it was getting rich in Skyrim. In the game you can only carry 4 items that would classify as weapons, have only one armor (the one you are wearing). In Skyrim, there are no such limitations. There is the carry weight but let's face it, they can be worked around. So I thought I would limit how much I can carry. Details of the challenge Can only carry: two two-handed weapons (staves, greatswords and bows and such), a total of three one-handed weapons (two smalls ones and a medium sized one or two medium sized and small, wo medium sized ones can be switched with one thin two-handed sword, torches, woodcutter's axe and pickaxe do not count) Can only carry the worn armor Enchanted items can be taken for the purpose of disenchanting
Raya Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Oculus Rift. Won't go further. Had it uninstalled until I got it. Back to Tamriel for the last six months and loving every moment of it. Dragons are scawwy!
trpd Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I got leg edition purely for modding. Story and combat are pretty bad in skyrim, it is about freedom to do whatever and add in whatever :] That said game would be so much better/immersive if you couldn't get and do pretty much everything in one playthrough and if you would have to face lasting consequances. Sadly AAA gaming is like that now, aiming to hit largest crowd and avoiding anything that could make players unhappy.
halieslade Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I, too, try to self impose challenges in my game. Since it's modded out the wazoo, I have to RP some limits just to keep it interesting when I'm not naked and getting fake-raped all over. First, I prefer to play without magic. Magic in Skyrim kinda sucks anyway unless you mod it to the walls, so this isn't so hard. I play a bow character and while I carry a dagger I don't like using it. It's bow all the way -- and if I'm feeling adventurous I don't even enchant my bow. It's amazing what a decent Orcish bow can do to bandits. I don't take followers, either. Not that I don't trust the game AI, but I don't trust the game AI. And it's harder sneaking into dungeons if your follower's wearing heavy iron armor and running into shit. Depending on my mood, I will play games without any enchanting at all ("More Interesting Loot" doesn't yield items as powerful as what you can make yourself, but it at least gives your quests more purpose and the occasional nice surprise). If I find myself one-shot killing everything it's time to sell off some crap and drop back on the power. I've shot dragons at almost a mile away and one-shot killed them. It was fun once, but then you start to get careless and lose the immersion. You're a frickin' hunter who can be gobbled up by giant dragons. You're not a god.
