KonaKoffee Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 in your case it would be the particular spell you are using not being properly scripted so it isnt a combat spell. It was the Puppeteer Master plugin from Skyrim Nexus (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=10870). The author did a pretty decent job of setting up a way to independently animate characters/player without console commands. However, terrible repercussions to the gameplay ensued when using it. Your comment made perfect sense after combing the forums for answers. Instead, I loaded Fore's Idles for Skyrim to set up some scenes but was concerned about modifying the game behavior files. It can get pretty time consuming restoring various game files if things don't work correctly. Still, it's worth a shot. Thanks for getting back on this. Just love your input on all things great and small....
DocClox Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I've mentioned this elsewhere, but since it's relevant: JoshNZ has a new animation framework, similar to FNIS but allowing dynamic patching of the behavior file. It's not entirely what I was hoping for, but it does address my main issues with FNIS. So rather than spend any more time trying to get my own system fully debugged (and further confuse the issue with three competing systems), I'm thinking to just adopt the AP format. That still leaves us with some resources to compile and collate. I meant to update the wiki last night, but it was an unexpectedly busy evening. I'll post what I've got so far when I get in tonight.

Now to struggle through the install to see if I can actually get it to work. Not a modder or programmer, just a 3D animator by trade, but have been studying the CK for the last 7 or so weeks. Realized that it's a good starting tool for custom content, but found it somewhat lacking in many fundamentals, such as getting custom animations coupled with facial expressions, etc, into the game without some programmatical gymnastics. For some reason the CK makes one feel like the main circus act - trying to juggle and jump through hoops without falling on ones face.... or walking waste-deep through mud. But on a more positive note, read the entire thread twice on the Sex-Slavers Guild and enjoyed your ideas and comments immensely. Your grasp of the framework required to produce something that could ultimately expand and include other contributors' content, plus devoting your brain and free time to that end, convinced me that you are indeed a noble and generous soul. For that, I thank you... as we all should. Sadly it can happen where your ideas have Levelled Up, but the rest of the world hasn't. Anyway, I should travel to another thread as I've run out of worthwhile things to contribute here, although it has been great fun chatting with you and sBseed! Cheers!

Its a good shape and size to work as a dildo or strapon. [/quote'] By all means I can supply my unfinished model if you guys want it, but in the request thread for the horker tusk strapon it would seem TheSmithsDog has actually created a working version and is just waiting on permissions from the original strapon creator. I'd suggest contacting the original creator and just waiting for TheSmithsDog's version, since mine still has to be rigged, exported and converted to a usable nif and retexured. Cheers!

[/quote'] good idea, you could also use leather with iron spikes fixing it to the horker tusks... either way might need to modify one of them to point slightly different, depending on how close you are going to have them be.

sbseed Posted May 1, 2012 Author Posted May 1, 2012 ill be keeping the original dragon/dovah mesh as well... if we get the MCM part working then you will be able to choose your poison/style for pretty much anything (thats the plan anyways). still needs ton of work, anyone want to help dont hesitate to post anything you might want included with the sresource.esm file... need to work up some menu's for the MCM, but hopefully they will be similar to this: >Creature's -dovah -nudity (on/off) -female type -male type -ghost -wraith -etc. >Payable Races Nudity -on/off -body mod types to use (male/female/futa such as bnp/cbbe/etc.) -female settings (random - on/off) -boob size -vagina style -body hair (arm-pit/groin) -male settings (random - on/off) -chest hair style -penis size -body hair (arm-pit/groin) or something like that... probably be a more concise/generalized version for creatures... setting that controls all maybe with an advance (menu) setting maybe for those who want to nitpick.

Heck when looking through the pictures of the monster mod i swear i saw a mindflayer lookalike, which if that is the case someone could create a story/enslavement type mod based just on that monster alone.

[/quote'] if there are other monsters/etc. within the mod that are not already in Skyrim those could be usefull, same as above though would need permission and the animations/meshes/original-textures sent to me... as long as it is only the unique's. then i could add them to the ever growing pool of Assets ive working on. any help would speed things up greatly.
sbseed Posted May 3, 2012 Author Posted May 3, 2012 just the old dragon which i have switched to Dovah instead... this will allow me to create a DnD style dragon base mesh. pics should be in the OP of the thread... edit: not showing properly as icons, you will have to click the link to see each pic... ill try and mess with it later on to see if i can get them to show up as mini-images/icons like normal. I will be updating the OP soon anyways to re-organize everything so it makes more sense etc....

The scripts are bundled with the release. I'll update the pages on the wiki if I get time today. Still very buggy (and I apparently got the actors the wrong way around on my one POC loop) but there are people reporting it working for them, which probably means we're working about as reliably as animated prostitution. I'm wondering if it's worth doing a dev thread for the new framework - with a big HOWTO for the first post. I know we have the sex animations thread and this one, but I think a lot of people have just stopped reading. If we have a (semi-)working, extensible sex framework that's downloadable and usable we might get a few more brains focused on the problem. What do you think? sbseed Posted June 12, 2012 Author Posted June 12, 2012 i havent seen much talk about anything similar to MCM for SkyUI mod... at least not on the bethesda forums, he/she does talk about editing UI elements and menus(sorta). most i could get was that he is just continuing the skyui project and refining it, no confirms on working on anything like MCM unfortunately... its why i wanted to do our own thing.
