For the bed thing, I noticed it on previous versions of KW, and I think it's a known bug. It will sometimes say "Sleep in ___'s bed?" when the ____ doesn't even live in the household. It was weird, but didn't really affect anything. I haven't noticed it on the newest update, though

Really? I haven't seen that before, but I haven't been playing with the mod for a while. Will be testing a lot more now with the update.

 

I haven't seen it at all with the most recent update, so hopefully whatever was causing it got fixed - either on my end or within the mod. I also haven't see the left over "zzzzz" from sleeping with the new mod - I'm not sure if that was fixed or it's just happening less. Either way, things are running really smooth for me in this update. I've had a couple of blue screens, but it really hasn't been a lot.

A tip for anyone having issues remembering the menstrual phases:

 

Follicular, Ovulatory, and Luteal.  I remember it in the form compared to the lunar cycles Waxing, Full, Waning.

Follicular (waxing), Ovulatory (full), Luteal (waning). 

 

Or

F.O.L. which is also the first 3 letters of Follicular.

I was pointing out a way to remember the phases, I didn't say the moon controlled the phases.  I hope no one else takes it that way.  Thanks for pointing that out though so I can advise that it is not controlled by moon.  Simply using different terminology.

 

Ha ha, new moon inactive, that would be for the immature cycle which is teen.  I was pointing out for young adult and adult.

   I'm tired and have trouble forming my thoughts and conveying them correctly.  That would be an interesting idea but may be more work for Onikikay.

Is it possible to let a rapist do an alternative animation when the target victim is already active in another KW animation with another sim?

Last time the first animation was interrupted which resulted in the male sim freezing up in his last position and me needing to reset him.

Possibly a bug? Because somehow, when the rapist routine got started, there was no indication of the male sim having sex with the target female sim and so the rapist sneaked inside the house and started his rape routine while there already was an KW animation active with two players.

 

As for the alternative animation for the rapist.

I was thinking of the rapist taking pictures with his cellphone of the target sim instead of having the rapist interrupt the active KW animation, ending with the rapist jerking off on the toilet while watching the pictures playback on his cellphone (we know this animation exists) ... just an idea.

Do you have nraas overwatch?..if so make sure that stuck auto reset is turned off. Sometimes I see an animation break or finish and 1 sim is left frozen for a while, bug, script lag, game lag ? I mostly just leave them and they reset by themselves.

I think the whole spoiler thing comes up when you are quoting a bunch of posts or posts that include a detailed guide that can make a post extremely long. Like I said before I think it's kinda petty. Another fight that took place was over gifs on here too. It wasn't in Simlab but people wanted anyone with a gif to use gyfcat website instead of posting gifs directly on LL saying it bogged down the site but I didn't see any problem when I came here and looked at them so I didn't get it. That's why the gifs of my strapon edit are on external links. I was trying comply. Maybe some people have crappy internet. I wouldn't sweat spoilers too much in Simlab, now in the Skyrim section that's a whole different animal.

A quibble -- a mini-quibble in fact.  Heck, stop reading now, if you want.  Is there a mode that replaces the long menu options with short strings?  "Pee Here" instead of "OmniKW.SomePackageName.PeeHee_Interaction" or whatever it reads?  It can be difficult to spot the relevant text in the middle of that long string.  I'm only just starting to look at how Sims 3 works under the covers, but usually menus are implemented using lookups into external string map files so you can swap in new files with different language translations without altering code.  Is it the case that I don't have the string map file or that this is a TBD?  I've seen STBL elements in other packages..."string table"?  I should look at those...

 

(Also, one of those long strings says "Sleeing" instead of "Sleeping" <-- super-quibble!)

 

EDIT: STBL: Yup, lookup tables for different locales.  Only French seems to have been implemented, and I don't see the menu strings in my quick glance here, just the messages that would appear in the message mole.  By the way, "crac-crac" is "woo-hoo" in French?  Really?

They`re just placeholders, I think OnikiKay is more interested in developing gameplay rather than adding polish at the moment.

I totally understand prioritizing functionality (I write programs too).  I just wanted to be sure it was this, and not a matter of me flipping some debug flag to make the menus look nice.

CC Wishlist:

 

(1) Add adult programming channels to the Sims TV.  Associated arousal effects for viewers, of course.  Bonus points to the content designer who adds themed channels (e.g., gay porn), that has appropriate arousal effects and non-effects based on the viewer's gender preference.

 

(2) There is CC out there for erotic art for decorating your Sims house.  Can those objects be set to broadcast a low-level arousal effect for OKW?  Not unlike the TV idea, but maybe simpler.

General gameplay comment:  After spending a good week playing with OKW, I've decided that OKW is most fun as an add-on to classic Sims 3 play.  Simply maxing out everyone's kinky numbers and having them go at it like rabbits gets old pretty fast, especially when the repo-man is taking your stuff because your Sim sex fiends won't go to work or pay bills.  In my seventh or eighth iteration, I have my characters living a "real" life.  My Sims couple looks at the clock.  Have to be in work in 10 hours?  Enough time to sleep, get up, get ready and go.  So no woo-hoo tonight.  But let's make a date for Friday when we're both off for a couple of days.  Actually makes *me* look forward to Sims Friday!  For me, OKW adds a much needed element to the game that was (understandably) given short shrift by EA.  And yes, OKW lets my Sims get really kinky, which is fun, but on Friday, because we both have work tomorrow.   

 

It's a shame that the base game seems hard-coded with a single-partner mentality (perhaps ideal in the real world, but a bit constraining for OKW gameplay).  In one of my iterations, I had a boyfriend and girlfriend sharing the house with the girlfriend's younger sister.  After a long build-up, there were 3-way OKW oral woohoos and that was fine for everyone.  But not long after that started, the younger sister would start coming on to the boyfriend, and the jealousy meters would start redlining.  I would keep doing the "Let's be friends" mean option, but after the cooling off period, she'd be back at it.  Like a damn soap opera!!  In the end, it was an inherently and frustratingly unstable arrangement made so by the underlying Sims 3 game engine, as opposed to a weird and fun kinky arrangement that OKW let happen.

Minor request for future updates - I love the masochist trait/life happiness purchase, but I'd like to be able to toggle off the automatic adding liking rape after being raped enough times. It's kind of funny, but doesn't work well if you're playing a game where you have an evil sim making another sim miserable.

 

Is there a plan for a sadist trait?

 

Oh, another thing that would be fun is a way to change the state of every sim on the lot to horny or make them all exhibitionists. It would be fun if you're doing a brothel game or your sim wants a sex party.

I use the "No Jealousy" reward to avoid that. Don't forget about the basic features of the game when using this mod.  I'm currently playing Quagmire (from Family Guy) and he sexes up at least 20 different women in the game, sometimes out in the open if I'm at the brothel. None of them get jealous.

 I use Nraas' Master Controller for this. You can choose the traits and skill level of any sims you want. I also use this dress code sign when I want a lot full of exhibitionists. I have one on my nude beach and inside my porn studio. Set it to "Naked" and they'll all be horny exhibitionists in no time.

you know you want to put ts3 back on your machine now

 

but knowing ea it is probably best if she waits till ts4 is done aka has all its expansion packs made because as we all know every patch for ts3 they changed the code requiring modders to go back and rewrite their mods

Animations are just replacements so far, I haven't heard anything about standalone interactions. So stick with TS3, may be a couple more years before we get something like Animated Woohoo even close to happening, and several years before a Kinky world may happen.
