So I have tape turned on in the global setting and for both genders. Could you show what animations you have so I can just look them up and download them and find them easy. Also I’ve tried going into the woohoo stages and setting some in the rape category some on floor some on bed ect.  Can I not start rape anywhere? Do I have to lock doors and get them on a bed or on a object or can it happen on the floor?

here's what I have.
It should be able to happen anywhere as long as there is enough 'space' to play out the animation(s).

The kinkylucasroughanimations and the kw_l666_rapebdsm_animations are the two that I think have animations for this.

Good day! I'd like to ask if downloading this mod is really worth is, because I have read from a lot of forums that while Kinky World is a good sex mod, it is generally unsafe because the code can mess up the game - which caused some players to have to uninstall the TS3 application itself. I apologize if this seems like a dumb question, but I'm quite new to the community, and I'm worried that my game's files might get corrupted. I have also checked Oniki Kay's Patreon, and it seems that the mod's last update was back in 2020.

According to the reviews I've read, people say that Passion is a better alternative. May I also ask what the difference between the two mods are, aside from Passion being a more vanilla version of this mod? Thank you very much in advance.

@zenrails This post is probably going to get long, but I'll try to make it easy to read.

I have been using KW for many years, most of which I've also stubbornly used lots of NRaas mods alongside it. Would I say that the bad reputation of KW is justified? Somewhat.

It has never messed up my game to the point that I had to reinstall, but I definitely had to scrap entire saves back when I didn't know what the hell I was doing and would turn most of its features on. But I'm the most stubborn person I know and I kept experimenting with settings until I found workarounds for most issues I used to have. Nowadays I can say that my game is pretty stable with KW and many NRaas mods.

Oniki has indeed not updated the mod in years, but other kind people here have taken on that task and the mod is still being updated by them.

As for Passion, it simply animates sex the same way KW does. That's it. All the extra "bells and whistles" (and the bugs associated with them) are gone with Passion. I stick with KW because I do like some of its extra features. And those that I don't care for I can easily disable.

There's no clear answer to "Which is better, KW or Passion?". It depends on how stubborn and patient you are as well as how many of the extra things KW offers you truly want.

Nothing in the mod has the ability to modify that files that are part of the game installation itself. At worst, deleting the entire "Electronic Arts \ The Sims 3" folder will completely get rid of Kinky World.

There is a feature in Kinky World to uninstall the mod, which tries to remove all the things that the mod changes in a save game. It doesn't actually uninstall the mod files, but it is supposed to make it so that you can remove them without blowing your save up. I have not actually tried this, so I don't know how well it works. I have used the feature once to reset some of my KW configuration, by uninstalling it and then immediately enabling it again, and that worked for me.

I've used both Passion and KW, and overall, I like the extras that KW adds over what Passion provides. My main reason for using Passion was because of some of the late-ish versions of KW being really unstable, but I switched back to KW around the time the last official build of KW came out, and I have kept up with the updates made by other users here on LL. It has been very stable, in the sense that it doesn't crash the game, and the updates generally don't break anything that currently works. There have been a couple of builds that have broken existing stuff, but it has always been something relatively minor, and it has not been a problem to go back to a previous version until a newer version comes out.

FWIW, Passion also has not been updated in a few years, although that is due to the modder's IRL issues, unlike with KW, where the modder just decided to go after the money and only works on stuff that their patrons want. Although, to be fair, I think I'd be pretty burned out on a software development project where I'd been working for multiple years on the same project, too.

Thank you so much for your response! I'm glad to hear that KW worked for you, since I have heard a lot of people complain that it broke their games from reddit. I gave it some thought and decided to stick with Passion because it's much simpler. But again, thank you!

I see! It's good to know that there are people out there still updating KW, because I got scared when I checked that Oniki Kay hadn't updated it in years. While I do understand getting tired over working on a project for multiple years, it's still a shame because it sounded like they were going to add even more functions to the mod, and a lot of their patrons seemed to donate just to support KW. Thank you for answering my questions, have a good day!

I used to use this mod about a year ago but have changed computer since.

Now, the installation seems to have worked along with the animation packages etc.

When I attempt to get my sim to perform "kinky" act, it moves to the location, gets undressed. Changes the queue icon to one that suggests it'll run for "a time" (like sleeping). Then, cancels before the animation starts. I've checked to see if I have any conflicting mods. Other than animations, KW, NRAAS StoryProgression, Master Controller & Retuner I have no other mods installed.

The following is a copy-paste from the xml error file showing in my games' install location. Can someone help me make sense of the issue? Kind regards

In KW, sims will not just always agree to Kinky WooHoo with other sims, or even on their own. KW adds both an exhibition skill and a set of arousal moodlets.

Sims with 0 exhibition will do what you describe above. Sims with no arousal, will refuse to even try in the first place. When a sim has no exhibition skill, they will get naked, and then immediately react to being naked in front of their potential partner, and will quit and get dressed again, especially if they have no or low arousal.

In order to get sims to KW WooHoo, you need to get both of them to "horny" or "super horny" on their arousal level. You can do this with kinky actions, or with romance actions. I don't recommend switch between the two, because kinky actions fall under the "friendly" action category, and will reset the conversation level of the romance actions.

I always like to get my sims to at least exhibition skill level 1 before I try to get them to do kinky stuff with others. The way I do it is: send the sim into a room alone, and have them repeatedly do "kinky ... > exhibition > remove {top, bottom}", then use the "get dressed" menu action on them. Even without reaching skill level 1, the skill should show up on the skill journal. Once the skill points are maxed out for skill level one, the skill journal will show the progress bar at the max, and there will be a message in the journal saying that the sim needs to take at least 1 kinky selfie before the skill will go up a level. Have them do that now.

After reaching skill level one, they will be much more likely to not become super embarrassed by getting naked with a lover.

The KW mod always creates at least one debug output XML file at startup. The initial one just contains info about the version of KW, etc. That does not necessarily mean that there is an actual issue. It might create more than one while you are playing. Usually, the files are not useful, unless you get an actual error message notification from KW while in the game.

Hi. I have never played this mod before. Back when I was playing Sims 3 I could never really figure the Mod-Folder thingy out. Today I decided to give it a shot again and Chat-GPT helped me with creating the folder ... Gosh, I love him 😃

Now a question: In the Interactions menu there is the option "Show s*xual interest" and when I used it on another sim, game puased andthere was a popup "oh I´d love to do it with you" or such and a blinking > as if it waited for an input. But I couldn´t figure anything out. Is that popup just "fluff" or am I missing something here?

I've never seen that interaction before. However, I can say that KW does sometimes show a dialog where it opens a window and displays a message, which covers a good portion of the screen. You have to manually close these windows, they don't close on their own.

There is a setting, at least in the version I'm using, to disable dialogs. That will make it so that the dialogs will show up as normal notifications, where they pop up at the top right, just like you see with messages such as job promotions, and so on.

You may want to look at the thread for the enhanced version of KW. It has fixes for a lot of issues that users have found over the years in Kinky World.

The kinky world mod does not include ANY of the following:

  • kinky woohoo animations
  • realistic body parts, such as genitals, nipples, etc.
  • censor blur removal

You need separate mods for each of those things, and you will probably want several mods for the animations.

There are detailed instructions in the first post of this thread that detail everything that you need. For the genitals, nipples, body, etc., I would recommend using Jvsmith's enhanced bodies, for a couple of reasons. First, it is simpler and includes items that would require multiple mods without it. Second, some of the individual mods mentioned in the KW instructions are old and are difficult to locate.

Unfortunately, KW is a complicated mod, and you need to carefully follow the instructions in order to get it working. Jvsmith's bodies mod also has a lot of instructions that need to be followed. If you don't already have some of the conflicting mods that provide nude body parts, then it is a bit less complicated, but there are still some parts of the instructions that you need to be aware of and make sure you read.

Probably an incredibly stupid question, but is there any way to just use the cannabis function of this mod? I don't care about animated sex and I don't want the NPCs and all the other stuff. I just want my Sims to get high without having to use something as in-depth as Vile Ventures.
