StableBot Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 How can I use ECE face save to make a independent follower? I recently download a few _#_commonTriRaces.slot, I assume these are ECE face saves since the author said he uses ECE. I uses Racemenu and I don't really want to switch to ECE just for the face. I want to create new followers and import these face on to them. I try loading one of these using Racemenu, but said it can't load. Do I really have to switch to ECE, and what do I have to do after I switch to ECE? Are there steps to import my face into a newly made follower?

ousnius Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Install ECE, install chargen.dll and chargen.pex files from RaceMenu 3 (not the full mod), install CharGen Export, load the ECE save or preset, use the Export Head spell. See description of CharGen Export's mod page for more info.
Rayblue Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 As long as you have the same textures+headmesh and set the target body weight (the player character) same as the ECE save, face export/import should be okay without seeing a neck seam.
