Best looking NPC overhaul

Hi everyone, I'm gonna resume all my findings about Mixing Npc Overhaul Mods so you can enjoy the same way I do  :D

(I beg you pardon but I'm from Spain, sorry for my bad english)

First of all, you need T5E, and ECE (optional if you wanna use the JH_Dawnguard mod), actually I'm using Racemenu and ECE at the same time.

Install all the Npc Overhaul mods you want at the end of everything (MO), in my case these are the mods:

RSChildren

Decent Women - improve female npcs face

The Ordinary Women

Sidearmf93's mods: (i'm using all of them)

-jh_donyaakiin

-jh_bandits

-jh_dawnguard

-jh_dragonborn

-jh_companions

-jh_Elf

-jh_forsworm

-jh_people (Npc85)

All bijin's Npc Replacers (including Vivance as Toccata and Seranaholic)

In that order of preference (obviously upwards in MO)

This is my personal taste, you can use whatever mod you like  ;)

Now you need to run T5E, Alt+LClick (makes things faster) on the "ok" button with all pluggins active

Once it finished, you will start adding all npc entries in a new module file

6t2wk4.jpg

x5xmbm.jpg

You need to add all the replacers BUT you will add your personal choice from each mod no matter the load order, for example, I prefer Hroki from The Ordinary Women than any other else

70547-2-1449581621.jpg

16a788h.jpg

at the end you will have something like this:

2afj1h5.jpg

Now this is very important if you're using the jh_dawnguard, you need to copy the race entry from the ECE pluggin in your new patch or you will get those horrible black heads  :s

o8gx76.jpg

And almost done! Exit T5E and save the new Pluggin, if you are smart enough you're using MO , go to the "overwrite" bar and create a new mod. Name it "T5E Npc Patch" or whatever you like.

Now here comes the "hard work", enter the game and summon all the NPC you replace OR time for a tourist walk across Skyrim and write down all those NPC with black face (or you just can copy all the meshes and textures is up to you :P ), When you are done you will have to copy meshes and textures in the "new mod".

Meshes:

T5E NPC PATCH\meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facegeom\Dawnguard.esm

T5E NPC PATCH\meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facegeom\Dragonborn.esm

T5E NPC PATCH\meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facegeom\HearthFires.esm

T5E NPC PATCH\meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facegeom\skyrim.esm

Textures:

T5E NPC PATCH\meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facetint\Dawnguard.esm

T5E NPC PATCH\meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facetint\Dragonborn.esm

T5E NPC PATCH\meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facetint\HearthFires.esm

T5E NPC PATCH\meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facetint\skyrim.esm

Remember some NPCs are provided from the DLCs

Check every NPC ID and copy the faces meshes and textures from the mod you created the patch.

And it is done! NO MORE BLACK FACES and you are using a lot of NPC replacers at the same time  ;)

Disable other mods that change NPCs or Races (eg.: JH, SOGS). With MO it's easy to setup second profile based on your main one to test KZ. It's possible to have them all together, but takes a bit of work.

Thanks for sharing, would be great if you could upload a all-in-one file without the black face.

Well, the key for the "No More Dark Heads" is always copying the all textures and all the meshes from all those Npcs added to the T5E Patch in the folder's Patch, simple as that. :)

I cannot make a patch and share because it should be a personal taste (maybe you'll hate the new kids and the old ladies in my patch  ), but just give a try to the last post I made here, instructions with images added makes things a lot easier I think  ^_^

Ya if u can upload a patch just for JH Npc would be great, It the only Npc Overhaul i have, because it use my body\skin texture. The other npc overhaul you share here come with it body & skin texture right? I can try T5E myself, but i scare if something go wrong i mess up my game.

Does anyone knows, how to fix npc 85 solitude execution glitch?

I use this version of JH NPC. In the downloads is the execution fix. Not sure if it works on all.

I use to have to setstage in Solitude, now I don't.

https://nsfwmods.com/files/file/110-jh-people-npc-cosmetic-surgery-englishkoreajapanese-ver-integration-pack/

Hope this helps. :)

Which files to download from that version? the biggest file only 210 MB  "JH_skyrim_people." do i need to original version from the blog?

Actually, I'm using my own mix of custom textures too  ^_^ I never use the original texture from the Npc mods I download, for example Bijin original texture gives a "rare old lady" look (at least in my game) but with glossy fair skin complexion from demoniac the girls look damn good  (Some NPc with Demoniac Textures and others with Leyenda

There's ins't any kind of uncompatibility with the custom textures you're using and the FaceGenOm/FaceTint files you have to copying in the Patch folder, those files are only for the makeup and face shape no matter the skin texture you're using  ;)

Just woke up and on first cup of coffee, so hope this makes sense. :)

The 210mb file and the execution fix, don't need original. This is the same as jh npc 85. You'll still need bandit, forsworn, elf, dawnstar and donyaakin from blog if you want those face changes.

Hi, I'm using ECE and Racemenu at the same time, with Racemenu winning in load order but obviously every time I edit a charcter with the "racemenu" of ECE I just simple swicth positions of the pluggins. So, I'm using ECE and its .ESP but as I said Racemenu has priority in Load Order, thats way I just copied the "race entry" from ECE into the T5E patch, no weird black heads of the vampires in my game, I hope this would help you  ^_^

Install ECE with esp active load before Racemenu, this pop and staight ctd. I try T5E and follow what u said, but i when check ECE race there only 2 files, when i install the ECE i pick the full packcage.

I'm sorry, my bad. You need to create this folders too:

Meshes:

T5E NPC PATCH\meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facegeom\Dawnguard.esm

T5E NPC PATCH\meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facegeom\Dragonborn.esm

T5E NPC PATCH\meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facegeom\HearthFires.esm

T5E NPC PATCH\meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facegeom\skyrim.esm

Textures:

T5E NPC PATCH\meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facetint\Dawnguard.esm

T5E NPC PATCH\meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facetint\Dragonborn.esm

T5E NPC PATCH\meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facetint\HearthFires.esm

T5E NPC PATCH\meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facetint\skyrim.esm

Remember some NPCs are provided from the DLCs

Maybe is too much work but really worths it

Here there is some proof, notice the mix of "overhaul" mods bijin, sidearm's, decent women, women of skyrim and RSchildren:

Well, I guess some mods have conflics in your load order, always run LOOT, maybe you're using ECE as your enhace character edit mod, If you alredy using ECE don't install racemenu. I installed ECE only because JH_Dawnguard need it, check this, the hert replacer is working in my game:

I'm using Racemenu & Loot,  ECE just for JH npc. if u see above the images, i dont have the "Non-Player Character (Actor)" i did click the "Hide no conflict rows" still "Non-Player Character (Actor)" not show in the npc overhaul tab. Right now i just copy my body meshes and skin texture to the npc overhaul folder, so far is working great. still can't find out why T5E not showing "Non-Player Character (Actor)" like in your images.

I'm using Racemenu & Loot,  ECE just for JH npc. if u see above the images, i dont have the "Non-Player Character (Actor)" i did click the "Hide no conflict rows" still "Non-Player Character (Actor)" not show in the npc overhaul tab.

Ok, i'm still here with you, this time don't apply any filter in T5E, now you'll see all characters (non-actors) and the "conflics" too:

Ok here, I'm sharing my patch so you can take a look how I did it. Keep in mind this file is useless for you if you don't have the master files my patch needs, but you could use it as a reference, Here.

Well, I guess some mods have conflics in your load order, always run LOOT, maybe you're using ECE as your enhace character edit mod, If you alredy using ECE don't install racemenu. I installed ECE only because JH_Dawnguard need it, check this, the hert replacer is working in my game:

I'm glad that we are making some good progress. The new problem it is because KSStyle Mods have it's own meshes and textures, some comments above (before we start talking about my patch) other users explain that, you'll have to replace the "KS Core" folder the with your custom meshes and textures so they can finally match each other. Cheers!

It is possible, but it does take a bit of work. That might be JH Elves/NPC 85/whatever it is called. But you'll have to edit the plug-ins in TES5Edit and get rid of the records you don't want, as well as the facegens and custom textures. What I've been doing with Mod Organizer - so I don't have to go through the files in the mod folder so much - is I download a base mod (for example - Foxy Skyrim) and rename it something like "My NPC Overhaul". Then add the mod that I want to replace the npcs not done justice by the previous one (NPC 85), and rename it "My NPC Overhaul" so that the files will overwrite it. I do the same thing with another that I want (SOGs), layer again with what I prefer (GCE NPC replacers), once more (KZ Style), etc., and then edit the plug-ins in TES5edit to remove the records I don't want. Good thing is that this also saves space and can fix some load order issues, too. Sometimes NPC replacers will overwrite each other, but with certain load orders and such... It can get ugly. XP I hope that made sense. Lol.

Thanks for the links. It seems it doesnt work correctly for my part.

I installed only the Khajiit and argonian replacers but. The argonians are messed up it seems.

post-2490-0-63554100-1491133625_thumb.jpg

And for some Reason races in Racemenu get messed up textures. Guessing the esp's conflict with something.

post-2490-0-80840600-1491133588_thumb.jpg

Anyone else  have these issues?

Edit: Also seems to crash instantly when entering Riften bee and barb for some reason.

All issues goes away if i disable KZstyle-ARG and KZstyle-KHA.

Buggy esp's?
