alyaramc Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 I just got my Loverslab account today and have found a followers mod that I really wish to have on my game, I have downloaded every file in the mod, yet have found no trace of them in game in both the SKSE and Vanilla lanchers of Skyrim, is there anything else I needed to have downloaded for these mods to work, or have I missed something entirely? The mod in question is "YiuH StandAlone Follower Season2 v1.0". Thanks for your time peoples!
woodenstick Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Did you enable the esp in nexus mod manager?
myuhinny Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 What mod manager are you using? If you are not using a mod manager you need to unzip the rar/zip file and manually drag and drop the files into your skyrim data folder and then activate the .esp through the vanilla launcher. But it is better to install mods with a manager until you know what you are doing.
jfraser Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Also, you will get more specific help if you post in the mod's support topic instead of here. Go to where you downloaded the mod - on the right is a small button that says "support topic".
alyaramc Posted December 13, 2014 Author Posted December 13, 2014 How does one go about enabling the ESP in Nexus Mod Manager? Also, I cannot seem to find them in my Nexus Mod Manager anywhere, I brought the filed from my "Downloads" file and settled them on my desktop.
Sandatharius Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 How does one go about enabling the ESP in Nexus Mod Manager? Also, I cannot seem to find them in my Nexus Mod Manager anywhere, I brought the filed from my "Downloads" file and settled them on my desktop. At Skyrim's launch window, you will see the menu items. Click on "Data" and it will show you all the .esp files that are loading on your game each time you launch. Scroll down until you see the one you want. It should have a checkmark in the box to its left. If you want to see what .esp files are loading while you're in Nexus Mod Manager, click on the tab "Plugins". That will give you the same list. Here, you can check and uncheck the .esp files, and also change the order in which they load. Make sure main game files load first.
