Body mods, OCOv2 and OblivionXPupdate

I have palyed this mod before and all I can say is bravo and "Huh?" (the ending is the "Huh?" part). Any ways I had some qestions about using other mods with CLS Gold.


For body mods I know that HGEC (the one here right? http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/15802/?) is the one recced but will it work with this version? http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/34442/?

Both offer several options but I'm at a loss as to what would be best for the right look for my character; I want her to match up with the other characters.


And then theres the issue of OCOv2 by nuska http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/44676/?. This wildly changes how character appear and I would like to know how this affects the mod. Have others used OCO with CLS? If so how do the redesigned races look? Or does it change any of the character's appearances at all?


Finally I would like to use the Oblivion XP Updatehttp://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/35333/? but it seems to crash if I use it with CLS. I go into dungeons to get some gear and cash and when I go to the level up menu it CTDs. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Running ocov2 and like it but modded out the crap hairdos for dark elves and changed back some fancy hairs here and there for some npcs. Added in some various hairs that are popular like sksrens and so on. The mod works great finally something that fixes that booberry look for orcs! I had to fumble around a bit to find decent kat and argonian textures between here and nexus though. Only thing I don't like is how all non beast races have such a small inbred looking jaw. Doesn't line up right with the gag from PSE mod or other mods that add stuff like gags.


I have not yet tried this mod but ocov2 can be tuned to look like you want it and you have to add your custom races through ocov2 or they won't be compatible? Maybe the author of this mod can work it out.

http://www.loverslab.com/topic/8626-cls-main-files-mirror/You really shouldn't run much of anything while playing CLS if you read the info under the mod conflict area. Armors and clothing mods can cause problems if you are wearing them before cut scenes activate as it can cause you to CTD. CLS is pretty big and there are many things that can conflict with it. I believe when I played it I only had the set body mod active and a few clothing mods and one other mod but stopped wearing the outfits because they caused CTD's and the other mod was turned off because it was adding monsters an enemies to the same cell that CLS was adding stuff to which caused a CTD when entering that cell. So it is better to play the game new with most if not almost all of your mods turned off except for CLS of course.  You will have less problems that way. Even the setbody mod at times would make some bodies change back and forth. Think it was the twin's that had that happen to them.

Thanks Myuhinny. CLS NPCs are mostly their own races so except for a very few vanilla NPCs, races or body mods should work. For armors or clothing, Myuhinny was perfectly clear.


Tell me if it works and what end you prefer if any :) Don't forget your last answer to Augusta will trigger the sad ending or the somehow less sad ending ;) ...
