My problem is intermittent, so if anyone has a clue how to fix it let me know.

for some reason the text generated for this mod is coming up before apropos text, and when the actual apropos text comes on it immediately kills the text generated by this mod.

found what the issue with the low fps is. basicaly u have the overlay selected not skyrim. in the borderless window skjyrim has bad fps when something ops up so fps is low when u have the overlay selected. have something else open then tab to it or try to alt tab to skyrim should fix the low fps.

found another thing it keeps always saying the offical arousal.txt that comes with apros is a invalid json format.

this kinda unsuable due to the fps issue. main reason is when every sex is had the fps drop again cause the overlay moves infront of skyrim.

ah ok I see,

theres a setting I forgot to put in the ini,

text_width =

it defaults to 1600.

so just add that line and set it to your screen width and you should be fine.

I too am getting a 20-30 fps drop, have reloaded the utility several times, as soon as the first message hits the screen i go from 55-60 fps to 25-30 and from there on out, stay at 25-30 until i exit the utility, then instantly back to 55-60, if I restart the utility.. i'm good until the first message appears then we start the whole process over again.

its not the untility its skyrim. skyrim dont like popups whenin frameless window and fps drop on any and all popups thats not a steam popup.

for example orgin if u got running when u get the pop up a freind comes online it drops around 10 fps. u dont have to reset the utitily u just have to alt tab to skyrim a few times and it go back. but every time u have sex it do it again.

Doesn't work for me, am I missing a step? Thought I did everything alright, but when I run the utility, it doesn't show any files anywhere, not even the settings file, and if I close the utility, I have to restart my computer to be able to open it again.

Hey Estelles! Bandicam will see the overlay jus fine but windowed Skyrim crashes unless Bandi gets turned on after Skyrim. If Bandi already running Skyrim crashes on load most times. Sometimes not, but IDK why and its rare anyway. . Kinda sucky but at least Bandi worx, unlike cah-RAPS :/ What's wierd is Bandi is aok w/fullscreen Skyrim. Le shrug.

Is there a cheap buy or like a permatrial for that Ivona? My Vista voices don work in the app >.< and Ivona wants like $30 in that Polish monies once my trial runs out O.o BTW TTvoice worx great! TYTY!

I can't get this to work at all. I've done everything the way it says in the setup but I can't get it to work right. and when I tell it to validate DB files it tells me the JSON files are not formatted correctly. but when I click again it formats just fine.

I see some problem with your paths, some of the paths need the filename at the end.

try changing to:

I used this mod in the past and I found it great, seeing how it has improved is impressive.

So, since my PC went down, I had to re download everything, and took it as an opportunity to move from NMM to Mo.

But since MO creates a "phantom" of the skyrim files I wondered how I needed to do my settings, since MO can't install the mod by itself.

Thanks for helping me, and I can't wait to see how this system will be improved.

Edit : Sorry, I had read through the first posts but hadn't seen the MO part of the instal infos... My bad for a useless question.

I ended up stopping the use of your mod because I noticed that the overlay's message area lagged in updating the game screen display for some reason. It was really apparent that there was a large rectangular area on my screen that wasn't getting the frame at the same time when I was running along a road or fighting. I'll watch for an update, in case you are able to fix that.

I compiled the program as 32bit, so it uses the 32bit voice sapi. thing with the cracked version is that voices which have allready expired the trail wont work even with the cracked dll. although i think you can trick it by changing your system time.

I dont think I can fix this at my end, looks like a video card driver issue. try updating your drivers, or possibly try some different settings for onetweak.ini changing the video hook option might help. I also saw theres a recent beta version maybe that fixes it.

I've done some updates to try and minimize the low fps problem some people were experiencing. basically whenever a message is not shown, skyrim now is the topmost and active window.

I also worked out a way to remove the apropos notifications so you just see the ones in the overlay. (requires replacing some apropos script files).

I made is so the text is now auto centered when changing the position and you can now change the font size and opacity with shortcuts.

I also added a short (or long depending on settings) fade in and out effect, of the text.

Just in case anybody ran into the same issue:

Remember Mod Organizer keeps a skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini for each profile. Click on the puzzle icon button up at the top in Mod Organizer, then the ini editor. Make sure logging is enabled there too per the instructions.

the newest version works very well. when it pops up only lose around 5 fps vs the 20 fps it was before. only other problem i had is thawt the text is a little slow to display. i put the speed to 1ms but didnt seem to help but that might be due to my heavly modded game.

good to hear the fix worked, you could try to mess with the

[Papyrus]

fUpdateBudgetMS=1.8

fExtraTaskletBudgetMS=3.2

values in your skyrim.ini, some ini tweaks recommend 800 for both, i think that setting is asking for trouble.. but there seems to be less delay when you raise them a bit (few milliseconds) above the default settings (1.2) allowing more time for papyrus scripts to run each frame.

Not really, maybe I'll add the option in a future update, if there will be one...

But a simple workaround would be to bind a shortcut to set skyrim to not be always on top.

I was gonna write you a quick script to do just that, but this one will work fine,

it's a Autohotkey script, which allows you to toggle a window being always on top by pressing control+space. (so just press that before you alt-tab) (I actually have a similar script running every time windows starts, those always on top windows are pretty useful once you get used to it)

The Skyrim always on top thing drove me nearly crazy the last day till I recognized it came from this tool. As I never had problems with your last versions I thought a way to disable/enable the feature would be nice.

At the moment I stay at the last version without this on top script. As the text positioning was much easier with 0.5 there is something to miss.

But don't get me wrong, it's very useful and well made tool.
