Gubgrub Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Thanks for taking time to show interest in this post. I did search the forums and while there were similar problems there wasn't mine specifically. I even did a clean install and First time I've had any real mod trouble. I played skyrim with the mods here for a good while. Got Dark Souls and uninstalled it for a time. Wanted to go back to Skyrim recently but I can't get my characters body to do the same things it did. Originally I got the body physics to work both with and without armor on when I first started adding mods. Now it only works on the clothes/armor. Is there a mod I am missing or conflicting with what is installed? Was it never supposed to work like it did for me originally and just happened by some freak chance? Here is my load order. I use mod organizer with loot added to it. # This file was automatically generated by Mod Organizer.Skyrim.esmUpdate.esmUnofficial Skyrim Patch.espDawnguard.esmUnofficial Dawnguard Patch.espHearthFires.esmUnofficial Hearthfire Patch.espDragonborn.esmUnofficial Dragonborn Patch.espApachiiHair.esmClimatesOfTamriel.esmApachiiHairFemales.esmApachiiHairMales.esmMFVM.esmhdtHighHeel.esmMFVM_ChildrenFight_Patch.espRaceMenu.espAzarHairPonyTail 03 - Havok.espchfshPlayerVoicesets.espRaceMenuPlugin.espHDT Female Hairstyles.espEnhancedLightsandFX.espRemodeled Armor - Vanilla Replacer - Dawnguard.espFNISSexyMove.espELFX - Exteriors.espCollegeOfWinterholdImmersive.espELFXEnhancer.espCWINPCImprovements.espCWIELnFXPatch.espCWIDawnDragonPatch.espRemodeled Armor - Underwear.espRaceMenuPluginXPMSE.espLatex Armor.espRemodeled Armor - Vanilla Replacer - Dragonborn.espProperWeaponScale.espSkyRe_Main.espMarriable Serana.espMFVM_Hearthfire_Patch.espMarriable Serana HF.espImproved Dragon Shouts.espBetter Vampires.espMistressSerana.espAmazingFollowerTweaks.espSkyRe_EncounterZones.espRun For Your Lives.espImproved Dragon Shouts - Dawnguard.espRemodeled Armor - Vanilla Replacer.espImproved Dragon Shouts - Dragonborn.espSMIM-Merged-All.espSkyRe_StandingStones.espChesko_Frostfall.espFNISspells.espSkyRe_EnemyScaling.espSkyRe_Survivalism.espSkyRe_Races.espSkyRe_EnemyAI.espDwemertech - Magic of the Dwarves.espIMAGINATOR - Visual Control for Skyrim.espBVLT - High Elf.espSkyRe_Combat.espApocalypse - The Spell Package.espIMAGINATOR - MCMenu.espForgottenMagic_Redone.espForgottenMagic_Redone_SkyRePatch.espSkyUI.espCustomizable Camera.espStrap.espWetandCold.espWetandCold - Ashes.espWhen Vampires Attack.espZipsuit.espdD - Realistic Ragdoll Force - Realistic.espiHUD.espAlternate Start - Live Another Life.espReProccer.esp
Alpia Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 The armors have tbbp (breast and butt physics) you need a body that has tbbp too or tbb for only breast physics if you have/use cbbe you must simply open bodyslide and use the tbbp or tbb preset. For the other bodys you sure find something here or with google. Just for info: When you equip an armor it is kinda like you are equipping a other new body thats why you only have physics on armor with tbbp support even if you have a naked tbbp body if the armor has no tbbp nothing will bounce and same for if the armor has tbbp it will bounce if your naked body dosen't have any nothing will bounce when naked hope you get what I mean Edit: also you need a skeleton that supports body physics if it worked before you might have overwritten the skeleton files install xpsme you find it here on loverslab. Edit2: since you use mod organizer I don't know how it handles the overwriting stuff maybe you have to change something so xpsme is not overwritten in MO but I dunno how MO works with that.
fizzybutt Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Check and see what mod is overwriting the body mesh, since you're not getting physics while nude. The little lightning bolt with -/+ signs are virtual overwrites for the mods. You might have an armor mod somewhere recently installed that's overwritting your body meshes. Just figure out which one it is and either delete out the femalebody meshes or drag the thing in the left panel of mod organizer until it's sitting over your body mesh mod and being overwritten properly. You can right click mods and get information, click the conflicts tab and see what it's overwriting and being overridden by. You can also open up in explorer to go straight to the files.

I guess I was just lucky or did something I didn't realize because I'm using mostly all the same mods now aside from a few cosmetic changes. I didn't need to use bodyslide for anything last time. Guess I need to learn it then. Recommendation on a tutorial for it or is it as simple as it sounds? I do have the xpsme from here and used NMM up to two days ago. If you know something that might work for NMM I'm sure I can translate it over to how MO works. I have CBBE installed as well so I don't know what to say there. Just a little extra info.

Ah a fellow CBBE user that makes it easier if you install cbbe with the installer it has no tbbp active. I'll "draw" a easy tutorial for the tbbp stuff I attach it to the post. if its too confusing just use google there are sure plenty, but I hope you get it Before you do it you maybe want to backup your old body just to be sure it is in data/meshes/actors/character/characterassets the two files named femalebody_1.nif and femalebody_0.nif Edit: if this dosent fix it for you its most likley like I also wrote down that something is overwriting your skeleton since the breast has some "bones" too if something replaces your custom skeleton with another one it might not work anymore just try what fizzybut said since I don't use MO I can't say more to this than just make sure your skeleton dosen't get overwriten trough anything.

Thanks I figured it out. Sort of. I think. Toyed with it a bit and loaded up my game on a new character. The body moves around as I remember. You're right it doesn't have nearly the same amount of settings you have in outfit body. Mine doesn't have any of the "Caliente---" outfit/body choices but it has "CBBE---". That the same? Need a pic for confirmation? I'm going to have to figure it out a bit more if I want to use some of the mods on here that are a bit more, to put it less perversely, invasive of my characters body. I forgot to make the backup though but, perhaps I read its docs wrong, I believe Mod Organizer doesn't truly overwrite any files. That's why I made the switch from NMM to MO. It's a bit of a learning curve but I found it much more useful when I think I messed up and don't have to go cleaning up NMM's leftover files since they're all in the MO folder instead of DATA which looks exactly like it did when I re-downloaded Skyrim.

That's why I made the switch from NMM to MO No I don't need any confirmation some of these bodys come with armors where you have to create the armor/body with bodyslide yourself and some are just some optional bodys I downloaded only thing that matters is that you have a tbbp body for the physics and the presets are also just some optional things you can also create presets yourself using the various sliders and then save the preset. Only thing to remember is when creating the body the one you choose under bodys is kinda the base everything is build on and the presets are just the form of the mesh(skin) of your body so you could say the body you select is is the base and the preset is what shapes the base into the female form you want to see well more or less easy explained. But I dont know how bodyslide works on or with MO Also yes MO dosen't overwrite anything in literal view MO creates a virtual folders for each mod and whenever you start the game it builds a data directory from these folders what skyrim can use so as soon as you start the game files get overwriten only virtual, but you can select what gets overwriten I hope I explained half way understandable It dosen't get overwriten on your harddrive, but it gets overwriten in the game guess that should be understandable Edit: There is a tutorial on the bodyslide page I just poste it here you might want to read it dunno. #1: How to use the program with Mod Organizer: Video Tutorial by GamerPoets 1.) Install or download the archive to Mod Organizer like you would any other mod. 2.) Ignore the "No game data on top level warning"! 3.) Right-click BodySlide in MO and choose "Ignore missing data". 4.) Enable the mod and make sure it is loaded after your body mod(s) but before all BodySlide addons. 5.) Right-click BodySlide in MO and choose "Open in explorer". 6.) Inside of the "CalienteTools/BodySlide" folder, locate "BodySlide.exe" and set it to always run as administrator (file properties). 7.) Go to the virtual "Data" tab to the right of MO and navigate to "CalienteTools/BodySlide/BodySlide.exe". 8.) Right-click "BodySlide.exe" -> Add as executable. Note: Do not hook BodySlide through the "Configure executables" tool instead or it won't work. If you've got any problems, locate the main Mod Organizer executable (Mod Organizer.exe) and make sure its set to run as administrator as well.

Think I should I start a new topic since it's unrelated to this or continue here so as I'm not spamming the tech support board with posts?
Gubgrub Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 Everything worked out. Other problem was just me being stupid and downloading the patch instead of the main mod. Thanks for the help guys and hope this helps whoever is reading this now in the future with a similar problem.
