[Sims 3] BodyRomanticSlipBows Transparency Edit (UPDATED)

Originally I wanted to remake this CC but time and the damn normals didn’t allow it, so I just created the internal face, fixed the clipping in the buttocks and added a second variation integrating the RomanticBalconetLace panties from The Sims 3: Master Suite.

So if you look inside the mesh it won’t disappear anymore. Besides this it has the same features as the original, meaning you still can’t use mesh tops alongside this babydoll, texture brassieres are OK as the pics shows. For undies you can try some accessory panties located at sexysims.info or integrate your favorites directly into the textures (mask, multiplier and specular). These tutorials cover some of the basic steps.

This version can coexist with the original.

Hi! My english sucks, I'll try to be brief.

 

I've been trying to learn how to make sexy CC for The Sims 3, after some weeks months this is my first release.

 

I cloned the BodyRomanticSlipBows babydoll from "The Sims 3: Master Suite", removed both top and bottom and made the rest transparent. As base I used Sheer Sexy Pareo by SG77 (you can download it on SexySims2), NOTE: didn't use its textures or meshes, I used the package structure to figure out how to make 2 mesh groups and what shader select for the transparency effect.

 

 

In the images you can see the original babydoll (far right) for comparison, after further review I think that was a mistake because it obviously looks waaaaay better...

 

Details:

• Base game compatible
• For YoungAdult and Adult Females
• Located in the bottom category (naked, everyday, sleepwear, formalwear and career)
• 2 color channels
• Proper morphs and LODs
• Polycount: 1330 something
• Package and sim3package included

Defects:

• If you look inside at certain angles parts of the mesh completely disappears, this is because the original EA mesh is only one sided. I could duplicate it and make the interior face with it, but right now it's above my knowledge level.
• You will find two types of clipping. The first is caused by animations (like sitting) and there's no way around it (even the original made by EA has clipping). The second is made by your sim's body, if you like your sims with big breast and ass (way beyond the game limits) you will find some deformation at the top, and some clipping in the asscheeks.
• This CC can't be used with other tops, you can use your choice of 3D breast or the default without problems. The moment you put a bra/shirt/whatever the textures will mess up. Accessories are fine.
• For best results use light colors/patterns.

You don't need to ask for permission if you want to modify this CC or adapt it to The Sims 4 or another game, just remember to give credit (also send me a link).

So this is was made from Master Suite lingerie at the right in the photo above.

 

Can you make the original version from your new mesh, but with extra matching undies and the bra part (but without extra cup above it)?

 

So it will look like real lingerie (unlike the EA version for T rating).

It's doable but there's a caveat: for the top you won't be able to use breast with 3D nipples (at least not CmarNYC's), also you won't be able to enlarge the breast beyond the game limits. 

 

Look how it deforms the mesh (these are from an early project):

 

The same would happen if you only "paste" a texture over the breast mesh, it will badly deform the moment you increase their size over EA's limit. That's why "Helen", the sim in red using the original EA clothes, is waaaay too "small" compared to her sisters.

 

By now you may have guessed I like my sims "big"

The most important one is NRaas Mastercontroller it has a TON of options, specially for CAS (create a sim). 

 

Once installed you can access it by clicing on your sim and selecting NRaas / Mastercontroller / Settings / CAS, find "Slider Multiple: Facial" and change the value to 2 or 3 (I use 3). This duplicates or triplicates the sliders limit, I also recommend to change "Show Numeric Slider Value" to "true".

 

For the breast I use Delphy's Breast Sliders They allow you to change cleavage, depth, vertical height and scale them even more.

 

This work the best with CmarNYC breast (no, I'm not being paid for promoting them, I would be rich otherwise )
