Rhinestone Sandals “Impossible Heels” EDIT I will remake the feet I use for my “Impossible Heels” and I don’t know if I will still use Blooms Base’s Sexy Feet, create new ones using the default feet or import some from somewhere else. What I know is it will take time, a lot of it. So these sandals from S3: Late Night are the last ones using this shape/feet. I used the same method as the Leather Pumps to increase polycount and therefore detail, the texture was a pain to preserve but it was worth it. Fantasy Set No.1 (accessories) (amBodyEP9PlantSim, afBodyEP9PlantSim and afAccessoryStockingsEP10MermaidScales texture edits +one more) (From left to right: a mermaid, two plantsims, a vampire and an alien) I like to play with life states like vampires, aliens, plantsims, mermaids, etc. They just add variety to the game and were the perfect excuse to try some texture edits: Mermaid stockings These ones are the stockings mermaids use when they walk on the ground in The Sims 3: Island Paradise. The problem is they are bugged and constantly disappear from you “mersim”, other problem is that they are hidden in CAS. Long story short, I cloned them and enabled them for everything. (Extra accessory: “Mermaid Ears” by Daisy Sims.) Plantsim A/B I removed the meshes and edited the textures of both male and female plantsims, they were included in The Sims 3: University Life. They can be used to create elves, druids, ladies of the forest, etc. Don’t be fooled by the pictures they can be used in almost all colors besides green. (Extra accessory: “Blue Rose Set” by Meronin) Sexy Futuristic Body Initially I wanted to edit the alien spacesuit from The Sims 3: Seasons; but I still need lots of practice to even start with that project, so I decided to make a texture from scratch. JacketRibbons Multiple Edits +Maid Apron (afTopEp7JacketRibbons and afBodyFrenchMaid mesh/texture edits) Phew! That was a grindfest... From The Sims 3: Supernatural I extracted the JacketRibbons garment and removed the chest area, easy right? Except that I thought it would be nice to make two more variations. I had to duplicate UV coordinates and move textures to create enough space for the nude torso and bla, bla, bla… The important thing is it worked afTopEp7JacketRibbons with breasts made by CmarNYC v1 Without the chest area this becomes a short jacket, the best part is there’s no clipping to be found (just a small invisible spot hidden below the boobs). afTopEp7JacketRibbons with breasts made by CmarNYC v2 I confess that I could’ve made something a little more complex with this mesh but I was already low on texture space, so it became a compact corset. afTopEp7JacketRibbons with breasts made by CmarNYC v3 Basically this is v1 and v2 combined, also looks the closest to the original. afTopEp7JacketRibbons with BarbieBoobs v1 / v2 / v3 Thanks to all the work making space in the textures and simplifying the meshes, I just had to copy/paste the base nude torso once I finished with the CmarNYC version. Both look exactly the same except for the nipples, this also means sliders for making them enormous work as a charm (they also work in default non-extreme sizes, just to be clear). This CC won’t interfere with the original so you can compare/use both on your game. ----------------------------------------------------- MrAntonieddu’s Pigalle3DSpikedPumps “Impossible Heels” Edit After a loooong research period through almost every forum, blog and site related to Sims 3 modding I found the way to craft what I call “Impossible Heels”. Impossible because their shape and also because I thought I would never be able to make them. The first part was to modify the feet, they are based in Blooms Base’ Sexy Feet. After weeks months moving vertexes, subdividing faces, clashing with normals and almost going nuts with the UV Mapping I reached a “not good, but also not so bad” stage. (Right side: Blooms Base’ Sexy Feet. Left side: the result of months of editing.) The second part was the shoes; I selected MrAntonieddu’s Pigalles because they are completely 3D and very well done. Though they’re a little high on the polycount, making the edit was faster thanks to all the practice I got modifying the feet. (Right side: MrAntonieddu’s original mesh. Left side: My edit showing the difference in height.) The final part was the height, as you can see in the screencaps from Milkshape3D, this shoes go into the negative Y axis value. Without adjustment they will look buried into the ground. Long story short: every piece of clothing has a section with values related to bone position; change those values and you can modify the arm orientation or, in this case, the feet position related to the ground. And here is the result: a pair of heels that increase your femsim height. Disabled for random sims (meaning the game won’t select them to be used by the rest of the population) Polycount: 4790 3 color channels Package and sims3package included Defects: Ok, I got to a point of complete, pure and absolute saturation with this project; I’m not going to make any corrections anytime soon, so you’ll have to live with the next little details. The shape, I know they don’t look anatomically correct and for the same reason they are not for everyone. The shoes will look “weird” in CAS, that’s because both left and right foot share the same UV coordinates. They will look fine in-game (check the pics as proof). The UV map is barely adequate (to be clear that’s my fault, not Blooms Base); if you use patterned stockings (like the ones here) you will notice some lines and regions were the shapes don’t match, it’s barely there but if you look hard enough you’ll find them. Same happens on naked legs, under certain light conditions. Clipping, the game tries its best to compensate animations to your femsim’ height, and succeeds more times than not, but sometime fails in actions like kissing where your sim will miss her partner lips. The only solution would be to completely rewrite every animation, not gonna happen. This also means custom animations (like GraphicalXTC and others) will also look off. For custom static poses use OMSP (the heels elevate you sim 5 game units, OMSP already elevate everything 2 units) The damned white points of hell… I still don’t know why it’s happening, what I know is they are random and unnoticeable 90% of the time. In the end even with all this defects (and probably one or two more I didn’t discover on time), this CC is fine for normal simming. “MedBod”, Sims Medieval Female Body for The Sims 3 Update 1.55 (just for Bottoms): (left: version 1.5, right: 1.55) This version “fix” some problems with the butt UV Map and garter belts textures, the solution isn’t perfect but is quicker than remake the whole mesh I didn’t touch the shape and if I did I only moved a couple of vertices nor more than 5 pixels so if you’re happy with the old one don’t download this file (and make a backup) If you download it please delete the old one from your mods folder, even with the slight difference in name this file will completely replace meshes and morphs from 1.5, just in case refresh the cache beforehand. ---------------- UPDATE 1.1 DEC/14 ---------------- Originally I wanted to remake this CC but time and the damn normals didn’t allow it, so I just created the internal face, fixed the clipping in the buttocks and added a second variation integrating the RomanticBalconetLace panties from The Sims 3: Master Suite. So if you look inside the mesh it won’t disappear anymore. Besides this it has the same features as the original, meaning you still can’t use mesh tops alongside this babydoll, texture brassieres are OK as the pics shows. For undies you can try some accessory panties located at sexysims.info or integrate your favorites directly into the textures (mask, multiplier and specular). I've been trying to learn how to make sexy CC for The Sims 3, after some weeks months this is my first release. I cloned the BodyRomanticSlipBows babydoll from "The Sims 3: Master Suite", removed both top and bottom and made the rest transparent. As base I used Sheer Sexy Pareo by SG77 (you can download it on SexySims2), NOTE: didn't use its textures or meshes, I used the package structure to figure out how to make 2 mesh groups and what shader select for the transparency effect. In the images you can see the original babydoll (far right) for comparison, after further review I think that was a mistake because it obviously looks waaaaay better... Details: Base game compatible For YoungAdult and Adult Females Located in the bottom category (naked, everyday, sleepwear, formalwear and career) 2 color channels Proper morphs and LODs Polycount: 1330 something Package and sim3package included Defects: If you look inside at certain angles parts of the mesh completely disappears, this is because the original EA mesh is only one sided. I could duplicate it and make the interior face with it, but right now it's above my knowledge level. You will find two types of clipping. The first is caused by animations (like sitting) and there's no way around it (even the original made by EA has clipping). The second is made by your sim's body, if you like your sims with big breast and ass (way beyond the game limits) you will find some deformation at the top, and some clipping in the asscheeks. This CC can't be used with other tops, you can use your choice of 3D breast or the default without problems. The moment you put a bra/shirt/whatever the textures will mess up. Accessories are fine. For best results use light colors/patterns. You don't need to ask for permission if you want to modify this CC or adapt it to The Sims 4 or another game, just remember to give credit (also send me a link). That's it! Top EP10 Bikini Edit My second upload yeah! (sorry for the bad english) The origin of this CC is the Bikini Top from “The Sims 3: Island Paradise”, another expansion by EA full of bugs and lost potential, but I digress. This release has two versions: With BarbieBoobs (left side on the pics) This one is in essence an alpha edit, the mesh is the original one created by EA and I only “removed” the bikini top from the textures. This version is for those who hate nipples don’t use 3D breasts. Details: Base game compatible For YoungAdults and Adult Females Located in the top category (naked, everyday, sleepwear, formalwear, swimwear, career, outwear) Proper Morphs and LODs 3 color channels Polycount: 3300 something Package and sims3package included Defects: Well practically nothing, I mean, I only deleted the bikini texture so the rest works exactly as EA intended. If you ask me the only defect is that you can’t use sliders to enlarge and give form to the breast, at least none that I know. Obviously you won’t be able to use, bras, other bikinis, shirts, etc. (if you really want you can try some “accessory tops” at SexySims2). As the pics shows bottoms and accessories are all OK. Let’s start with some clipping in the underarm, only noticeable if you femsim elevates her elbows above the shoulders Next one is the skirt, most of the time everything will look all right; the moment you sit you will notice a little clip in the crotch area and some deformation in the inner thighs. The problem is I’m using bones created for a skirt with naked legs, but without them this CC would not exist. It seems the solution is to generate a unique set of bones but that’s way above my paygrade (heh) The mesh normals are a little wonky, it’s more evident on the back of the corset where half of it will look darker under different light conditions. Obviously the skirt’s tail will also create some clipping, especially when interacting with other objects. But the original did it too so I’m not overly concerned Finally LOD2, it just has some blind pixels on the back of the skirt. After 2 hours trying to fix them I just made them less noticeable I want to give a very big THANK YOU! to Cmar, without Meshtoolkit’s latest version (1.4.4) this CC would’ve not been possible. Revealing Robe Edit (amBodyRomanticRobe male to female conversion and edit) I was this close to rename this CC as “Impossible Robe” and archive it… Short story: my initial body edit had an excess of bone assignments and the only way to fix it was to convert it to top. In the end I’m happy with my first male to female conversion even if it’s not perfect. I have a problem wi… None of my femsims use pants… like at all (if you haven’t noticed there’s a chance I might be a little pervert… unconceivable I know!). So I never worried about my ImpossibleHeels edits not playing along with them, but merely for curiosity I decided to try to find a fix and, to my surprise, it was relatively easy to make. So here’s the deal: I still won’t be selecting pants for my femsims anytime soon (come on!), that means I can’t test them long enough to find errors. If you’re interested in them please download this CC and use them for everything you can, also test them with other shoes/clothes/mods. When you find some clipping or another glaring error take a picture (press C on your keyboard, the file will be saved on your Sims 3 folder located in My Documents), write a little description and post it here. If I receive enough feedback I will finish these pants (I didn’t adapt the shape completely plus some other details) and publish some more, I can commit at least 4 pairs for the first official release, followed by a second release 1-2 weeks later. Romantic Babydoll Transparency Edit (afBodyRomanticBabydollSparkle edit) I got a little bored while making Horror Mistress (I’ll finish it, don’t worry) so I decided to make some adjustments to this babydoll from The Sims 3: Master Suite and finally release it. The biggest culprit was the crotch area it just deformed horribly or clipped inside the legs, so I decided to isolate it and the result is some lines and some odd folding noticeable when seating and when your femsim flexes their legs to the max (probably would be a good idea not to wear this CC while using sexy custom poses and animations) Some few patterns will look off in the middle-front area -- Edit, remove and convert as you wish. Resources for modders (intermediate to advanced) My objective is to share some of the files that I use as guide/aid in my projects; at worst they will save you a couple of minutes. I can’t share them all at once so check from time to time for updates. Now this is very important, these files are intended for people familiarized with Sims 3 modding, this means texture manipulation, object cloning, mesh editing and bone assignments/morphs as the minimum. There’s not a single tutorial that will teach you everything in one session (that I know at least), so for those who are beginning my recommendation is to start here, here and here (this one is not related to Sims 3, is useful nonetheless). The rest will come from practice and searching through forums like ModTheSims. 90% of the shared stuff will be in .wso format ready to be used in TSRWorkshop. You can use Cmar’s Meshtoolkit 1.4.2 1.4.4 (check message #37 for the download link) to convert them to .simgeon or .obj. Also, if you haven’t noticed before, all my stuff is directed to femsims. Rocker Choker multiple edits (afTopEP3RockerChoker, afBodyEP5Folds and afTopEP3CoretMesh franken-fusion-edit) Merry Xm... Happy New Year Everybody!! Hopefully 2015 won’t suck like 2014, anyway… My first release of the year was a pain in the ass to complete, initially it was a very easy edit but a little voice in my head told me: burn everything “pssst, hey josh, why don’t you add a skirt and maybe a new texture to that little edit of yours, wouldn’t that be fun?”. Short answer: it wasn’t. Removing everything but the belts from the afTopEP3RockerChoker from Late Night was extremely easy, but adding a skirt it wasn’t especially because I wanted to be able to look inside. In short the problem is EA’s skirts have very different bone assignment compared to the legs and that caused a lot of clipping problems. So initially I tried to add a pencil skirt then a mini skirt and finished with a micro skirt, the last one touches the legs the least. MrAntonieddu’s Daffodile 160mm Pumps “Impossible Heels Edit” For this edit I decided to remade Blooms Base’ Sexy Feet from scratch, maybe you haven’t noticed but the original edit is a royal mess thanks to my ignorance about how to work with a 3D mesh from Sims 3. Well, I’m still ignorant about lots of things but I was able to reshape the feet and I think they look a little bit more natural, not 100% anatomical correct but closer. NOTE: Both Capri and Pigalle updates are ready for download. I’ll update both Pigalle and Capri edits; I think they might be available this Saturday / Sunday (also probably release a new pair). (left side: my edit, right side: MrAntonieddu's original mesh) The shoes I selected were Daffodile 160 mm Pumps by MrAntonieddu, I don’t know if the final results is 160mm high but in the game they will elevate your femsim 10 units above the ground. Disabled for random sims LODs and morphs 3 color channels Polycount: 4k something something Package and sims3package included If you want to use custom poses use OMSP Defects: The most obvious is clipping, these shoes are too high and you will notice 50% of the time specially when interacting with chairs / sofas / beds and related. Again, the only solution would be to rewrite every single animation from the game About custom animations… they are unpredictable. It really depends how much the animator rotated both feet and toe bones. My insignificant recommendation is to leave the toe bones alone because they cause horrible deformation; the feet can be rotated but very slightly (max 15 degrees in any direction). You can mitigate some of the clipping using OMSP and maybe Pose Player Interaction Add-on but haven’t tested it yet There’s a feeble line on the seam (only noticeable if you really look for it) and you’ll notice some deformation if you use patterned stockings, but even then it looks better than the original edit ----------------------- Finally, thanks to Blooms Base and MrAntonieddu -- If you’re going to modify this CC don’t forget to give credit, especially to the above-mentioned creators -- Daffodile160mmPumps_ImpossibleHeels_EDIT_byJoshQ.zip

More Simple Lingerie I revisited my old projects folder to see how many I could rescue and that number was only two… D: Anyway, these are just two pieces of accessory lingerie and that means 0 clipping, 0 borked normals, 0 problems with LODs, morphs, bone assignments, custom animations, strange shadows, CAS weirdness, etcetera, etcetera, and freakin etcetera. That doesn’t mean they are 100% perfect but if you’re not playing at full zoom you’re going to be OK.
