Jayleia Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 I'm not sure how the game decides to place enemies, but would it be possible to have one bandit fort, one necromancer tower, one forsworn fort, etc that's entirely populated by females? Because, as much as I like a train of assorted bandits...a train of female bandits would be MUCH more to my liking (or female necromancers or forsworn or...). Bonus points if you set a named Bandit Queen in there, of course. Again, I'm not sure if its possible, if it can only draw from a faction list, then this idea is pretty much dead, unless someone creates a faction thats "BanditAmazon" or something, but that has its own problems.
aqqh Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Its quite easy but time consuming. if you load a cell of some dungeon (EmbershardMine01 for example) in Creation Kit you will see M markers in various colors (green / yellow / orange / red). Those are enemy NPCs. Find those named for example like this "LvlBanditMeleeCommonerM" and replace them (crtl+F when you have render window active) with "LvlBanditMeleeCommonerF" (if you tick box "current cell only" it would replace all objects of same type in the currently loaded cell). Obviously enough M means male F means female. Those that doesn't have M or F could be either (game would choose randomly when cell would be loaded). You can change them to F as well if you like. You can make it your first mod
Jayleia Posted October 6, 2014 Author Posted October 6, 2014 Now...any suggestions for which places to do that? (I'd want to do that with one each of the various main humanoid enemy factions, Bandits, Forsworn, whatever group is all mages, and of course, vampires). I don't see Stormcloaks or Imperials as having an all-female, but its not impossible. Probably can't do that in something that has a linked quest with a specific NPC, or else it could bork a game, maybe? But I also want to do it in a decent sized place. I might start with Embershard, since that's pretty much the first time you run into bandits, and it just has a "clear" quest in it (as far as I know), with no special NPC...
aqqh Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 You shouldnt broke any quests by doing so. Basically if some bandit would be important for anything he/she wont be "lvlbandit..." but an unique actor. Worst thing that could happen is they would have strange random dialogues - like females saying lines "that brat isn't mine!..." but i'm not 100% sure that its possible to happen. And even if you got a quest "kill leader of ..." then it wont make any difference for the game if you would change that leader from random sex or male to female. Most of the time you could even change those unique actors and it wont make much difference either. So places like for example Pinewatch you can change everything even including last boss which is unique - and female if i remember right. There are some exceptions tho. For example there are no female Forsworn Briarhearts. And i wouldn't replace them with different ones.
Sorus Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 i believe there's a mod that changes most of the npcs into females http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22710/? if it's what you're looking for or not I'm unsure.

Somewhat, but that goes too far. I do want some all-female locations, I don't want to obliterate men as active NPCs from Skyrim. One is just an occasional all-female gang of bandits/coven etc, which can be believable, the other just blows the immersion away.
afa Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 There is this: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/26931-wip-more-women/ There's also this that does the exact opposite: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/19038-skyrim-more-male-spawn/ Might be able to find a way to reverse it? Also it might be just luck of the draw but I think Broken Tower Redoubt has high concentration of female forsworn.
