I've got the double cursor bug; it shows up during the opening screen immediately after

this message shows up on screen - see attachment. I've disabled the Steam Cloud, and

every other useless option in my settings. Now I need to track down and DESTROY whatever

is launching this message.

Thanks

I thought I had the answer. .. I had double cursor. Ijust restart the game. had something to do with alt+tab and such. The game cursor and the desktop cursor etc multi-monitor setup. That text and such in the top corner.. Sorry never seen that. I am interested as to what can cause that as well.

Never seen that. Some form of DLL mod, like ENB/SKSE?

And look in the system tray for programs. If you can't detect some unusual stuff, check the taskmanager.

That looks like a function key overlay for either a special type of keyboard, gaming keyboard possibly, or if it is a laptop, a possible "FN" key alternate button use key overlay. What are your system specifications? This might be a good place to start.

This is a new install, the only thing I have installed is SKSE; no other mods.

I am running Radeon Pro, which I installed because of stuttering - the stuttering

appears to be directly related to the double cursor bug. I tried activating the key

sequence, and it does something, but damned if I can tell what that 'something'

is; some kind of recorder? It does act like some sort of background process is

going on when the game is running. The game alt-tabs all by itself sometimes.

My system is WAY overpowered for vanilla Skyrim.

EDIT:

System Specs

iirc it's from the Razor/AMD Gaming Evolved Software, which clashes with the Steam overlay.
Disable it for Skyrim in Razor to avoid the game loosing focus, which result in the double cursor, and to avoid the clash with the Steam overlay.

Thank you very much, I removed that nasty bit of software through the control panel and that got rid of

the F11 prompt and the double cursor. The game is running nice and smooth now, the way it should :)

In the Windows control panel program list, it goes under "Raptr", not "AMD Gaming Evolved".  Apparently

it installs itself automatically.

Wow.. AMD I would think you would take care of any problems with your programs and only one of the largest distributor of gaming software around.. :dodgy:

Sorry had to chime in that part. Seriously .. AMD I expected more from you.
